There's a PVP-strip (www.pvponline.com) that goes something like this:
Cole Richards: If you had to choose between having sex with Kim Basinger or Michelle Pfeiffer, who would you choose?
Brent Sienna: I'd flip a coin, then kill myself.
That's how I feel about this battle.

Magistelle I think I've got a bit of a crush on Mammon now, I wish I could vote for you twice! The story was beautifully tragic!
Kinuchio, i like that you are always trying new techniques, the watercolours look great, and your lines are solid as always! Applause for everyone!

Splendid form from you two.
Mag, rather interesting storyline you got going here. You fleshed Mammon very well and developed him. I love it. Nice line work and shades. The proportions in some parts were a bit off, but on a whole the others had considerable weight on them. With a little work and practice you'll get them proper right. Other than that I think I have no qualms about your output. Jolly good work dear.
Kinuchio. You know I'm a sucker for this style and watercolors. I love it. I give you a big bear bro-hug. The old manga style, the watercolors. Goddamn, you got it good. The hatchings need a little work though... I don't know if the squarey-like watercolors were intentional or not, but it it wasn't I say lose it. This style deserves more love than square-y watercolors. On the story part, it feels very manga, the pacing and the fight... Damn this makes me want to fight a manga battle with you. Pukka form lad.
To both of you, congratulations. You've made an old man happy.

The fact that you both colored your comics probably makes this my favorite match of the round.
Magistelle: I really liked the way you did your coloring. It complimented the style quite well and gave everything a dynamic feel. On rare occasions the proportions seemed odd (there's something about the second panel on page 2 that seems off to me) but for the most part your art was very consistently good. Despite anyone else's opinion, I love the fact that you added drama to your comic. I feel it really helped with character development, and it adds a bit more depth to Mammon than some of the "I'm always happy, nothing ever goes wrong even though I live in a city in constant chaos" characters I've seen here and there. Mammon truly caught my interest in this comic and I look forward to where you go from here.
Kinuchio: I won't sugar-coat it, I don't like the new art style. I'm more of a modern, vibrant, digital color type of kid, and this old-school manga look with faded watercolors is not something that appeals to me. However, you did do the style effectively and consistently, so to someone who DOES like that sort of thing I'm sure you made their day. So to recap, I'm not a fan, but I respect that you did what you set out to do well. The exception being the first panel of page 5, I really liked the way that was drawn. The fight seemed a little more one-sided that I cared for, but the panels showing everyone awaiting the outcome was a really nice touch, and having Mammon win without resolving what will become of Jimmy was a very clever hook that will probably give you the edge as far as plot vs plot. Speaking of, I didn't like the fact that "plot" was mentioned. This is another issue of personal taste, but for me if someone breaks the fourth wall and they aren't named Wade Wilson, it puts a frown on my face. Also the gay comment seemed really forced. The wording of the set up seemed really unnatural, like something no one would actually say unless they were TRYING to set up that joke. Overall though this was a solid read. Kudos.
Good Job both of you. This will probably be close!

aaaaa Mammon aaaaaaaaaarabloobloo poor bby aaaaa
*cough*
Interesting "pixelated" style you're using for the coloring in your comic, Kinuchio. While your story was straightforward, it was full of action and the very twist at the end leaves me wanting to know what happened.
Magistelle: You went the opposite route, going for internalized drama over a fight. It ended up working out pretty well, even if some transitions seemed a bit too abrupt.

Whooo!, Magistelle! Drama Llama! I LOVE EET! It was really nice to see Mammon peeled back for a sec, adds lots of dimesion. I really enjoyed that scene. Superb! The only thing art-wise that I would have to mention would be to watch your bubbles. It got really hard to read the top two on the last page in the first panel. But other than that, nice story!
Kinuchio. Oh, Kinuchio. What can I say, your art and comic construction was practically flawless as always. I also enjoyed your soft coloring too!
Story wise, I really liked how you showed other simultaneous happenings around void as everyone awaits in anticipation for the outcome of the battle.
It was a tiny bit cliche for my tastes, but that's just me. It was still good, and I'm not jaded enough to where finding out that Mammon won didn't get me a small spark of shock, leaving me wondering about Jimmy
Nice job man.

Man you guys really went all out with the action on these two comics. It's crazy!
Magi, I like how actiony your round is but the new colouring style is kind of distracting for me in places. It might be that the characters and the backgrounds both have that sketchiness to them so they run together a bit. The backgrounds here kind of set the mood but I wish they had been a bit more solid in terms of telling us where these two are. But this comic definately makes me want to see more of Mammon and where he came from so good work!
Kinu, I think I like this new style of colouring, very watercolour like. It reminds me of old school printed comics. Banter is witty as always. I am enjoying the bubble lettering effects which I assume you drew in by hand, very much so yes. Can't wait for some moar.

Kinuchio I think you make Jimmy very charming and entertaining--it's so easy to root for him. The story overall moved at a good pace and I love your use of the other characters.
Good job everyone
