Corny-damn woman, you need to do drama more often, you did a nice job pulling it off. And it was a nice change of pace for you. Story wise this was a good read and I like the character development that's going on. Your backgrounds are getting better but I wasn't a fan of the hand written signs in the background, it looked kind of off next to this crisp finished digital art.
Jong-It totally broke my heart that the ONE time you didn't use traditional coloring was on the Calvin and Hobbes page. I love Calvin and Hobbes like I love peanut butter sandwiches so you got a giggle from me for including that. But the digital coloring looked really off since I was so used to seeing Bill Watterson's style with traditional coloring. I really love where you're going with your stories, they feel more like you and less like Monday Jr. (I'm sure I said this on your last battle) You're getting me interested in Jong's story finally, so please keep it up.
Great job both of you, it was nice to see some juicy character development on the battles page.

Awesomo! both of you guys!
Corny-great coherency throughout the entire piece! The quality stayed the same and I really respect that. I <3 your color.
Jong- yours was the most entertaining and the art is spectacular as well, great story!

Most of my crits have already been covered so i won't waste your time by restating them. So I'll just say what i loved about this battle
Corny: Cool story and your colors are awesome, your really good considering your age. at least compared to my art once i was 16-18. Well done
Jong Born: i liked both stories a lot but i prefer yours, i loved the Calvin and Hobbs ref at the start. I liked how each page was a little different, it made for an interesting read. Awesome work!
couldn't have said it better! can't wait for your next battle

DRAWING:
Corny: page 9=GAY!
instead of that comment on page 11, u shouldve shown that mask guy jacking off in shame after kicking the girl out, haha.
It was entertaining, but a little cliche. I liked the part where she goes kind of sailor moon on us, reminds me of when I used to
watch that show as a kid, the other guy reminded me of tuxedo mask too, maybe that's why.
Jong Bom: I really like the style you're using, somehow it reminds me of Sam Keith. Maybe the way you're using almost cartoony
characters (but not quite) and the way you show expressions. While reading it I was thinking I would like to see it in color, but when
I got to your color page, it seemed a little too bold, maybe try more pastel or desaturated colors, and I would go with a more
narrow color pallete if I was you. Your drawings look symbolic and iconic, maybe let the colors follow, don't try to color them
"realistically"
LETTERING:
Corny: You should let your text have more breathing room inside the bubbles, they seem pretty cramped. Oh, and don't
stretch your fonts out ("WHAT!?" pg 3)....typography no no. You did use a good comic typeface that complimented your
drawing style very well, and the way you sized things for emphasis was well done.
Jong Bom: Please always hand letter your own comics, the way you lettered this matches your drawing style perfectly!
The text doesn't look "perfect" as in clean and neat, but neither do your drawings, and they both look good that way.
Overall, both were very good, and had different qualities that I liked about each, the coloring in Corny's and the ink work in Jong's
especially. Keep up the good work guys

Aghh, I loved BOTH of these stories- I was hooked from beginning to end on each. you two weave quite a story! Whichever storyline wins, I am all a twitter with anticipation on what'll happen next.
JONG- Wonderfully clever use of Calvin and Hobbes stylin's in the beginning-you capture the art perfectly! I was kind of thrown for a loop. I have mad respect for portraying the story and characters (to my mind) as unbiased and honestly as possible. It's very easy to make your fighter the unbeatable, unattainable superhero while your opponent is a dirt clod you need only scrape off your boot. The dynamic and interaction felt very level.
CORNY- The colors dog, the colors! 8D The effects for your attacks and transformation sequences were lovely, not to mention the restaurant scene where Tammy is looking through the window. The reflections and rainy effect was superb. Going from panel to panel was really enjoyable- not to mention the story was very lighthearted with a nice dash of darkness tossed in to compliment your opponent.
Great work you guys and best of luck!

Amazing battle!
Corny: As ive told on the chat, you do expressions in very nice way, they are very believable, and I cant do better myself!
I found Sammy really cute in the beginning And I also like how she looked like a sad doggie when she was hit by Tammy.
On the later part of the comic, I wish Tammy was less dressed before Jong rejected her. That would make Jong a more bastard person ehhe.
I really like the way youre going with the coloring, like a mix of cell and paints, and it looks good this time around, vs other times you tried painting. I didnt spot any actual flaws, maybe just keep tighting that coloring, because sometimes it looks a bit flat, but still great to me.
Jong: That was pretty solid!
I wish you had finished it completely, since its like.. 4 weeks for 10 pages, but I guess its because youre super tired and stuffs.
The developing here is amazing, and I envy your dramactical skills, like the way you layout pages are very good, for example specially on page 7, that was a very smart thing.
I dont get why so many folks had the tengu mask later on, are they other BS? Aside from that, the last page had a lot of impact, and keeps me going. I didnt even think it was bad the story doesnt finish now, because I know it will be delivered sometime.
Rock on man!
Great battle, corny takes the quality vote here, but Jong won an edge to me in the other departments

Corny: what. the hell. are you doing. You're getting so much better so quickly. Only COOL people do that; YOU'RE not supposed to do that! Jeez, way to go against the rules little sister. Anyways <3 Like I've said before, your lines are so smooth and glossy, I'm finding myself looking at them for a while. But most of them are sort of thick; I think you could use a liiiitle more varience with them, and maybe a bit more thinner lines. But all is good, it's just something I noticed. Another thing you can do is start mixing up the camera angles a bit. I really love it when you tilt the "camera" to the side, like in panel 5 of page 4. It's nice when you do that, but what I'd like you to try is trying things like bird's eye view or worm's eye view. With the kind of action scenes you have, I bet it'd look really nice. As for the story, I would have never thought I'd be so into it hahah I hope you give this whole thing a good build up and ending, 'cause I'm loving where it's going so far! And I like how the dialouge is sounding more natural this time around. And yeah, I am SO glad you added those extra pages; it way a better way to end it and we got more out of it. Thumbs up sista, I'd say this is your best so far C:
Jong: Jooooooong, I love how you started this off, really, that was so clever! When i first saw it I was like "wait, this isn't Jong's comic..!" but I soon figured it out. It's so perfect how you manage to fit little jokes in there, and still have it come across as serious. The audience can still TAKE the situation serious. I'm glad you put those little side things, it gives a huge relief and everything just seems ballanced. That was a great way of leading the story into gangwars. Artwise, I liked looking at everypage. Those ink washes are really the nicest thing I've seen in a while and I wish you could have done it all the way through. That's what you seem to have trouble with though; you gotta be consistent. And it just didn't make sense to me why you chose to do a lot of the pages in the simplest inks and then go and color the whole last page. You could have spent the time you used with the watercolors on keeping the other pages consistent. But then again, i think you wanted to emphasize the ending, so I think I get why you did that. I also find you drawing some gorgeous girl faces and then flipping the page to find some OK ones. You might wanna keep the figures looking more or less the same as well. But one thing I really love is how loose you draw them. They look like normal human beings, where they're not all tense ( which i find a lot of people doing, including me ). That i admire C8 Nice job overall and I already know you're gonna cook something good up for gangwars. YOU BETTER C:<
I was so excited for this and you guys didn't dissapoint one bit.

Wow both parties presented a real good submission.
Corny-
If you didn't hate me so much i would tell you how much i love the idea of the ending. The colors we orchestrated very well and the overall look was definitely to my liking. Great Job. Regardless how you feel about me.
Jong Bom-
Dang bro you blew me away the way how you shifted from the dream to waking up. You style is definitely on my top likings. Love the Watercolor feel also. I'm a biiiig fan of it. 5 Thumbs up mang. Love it all the way.
