Actually the brutality and blood reminded me of Angie\'s long BB. =P

This was easily my fav Shepard comic. I like how you used this to freshen up his character. The stand off between Shepard and the devil guy was intense (if not a little TOO gory). And the ending was interesting. It gives you a little different way to go if you choose to incorperate his new home and family into his upcoming battles.

It\'s too bad Eden and Seak weren\'t in this a little longer since I like them as well but they served the purpose you had for them so that\'s kewl too.

haha yeah this was a pretty interesting read :3 really wonderin\' what\'s gonna happen next XD
I think the texture was a nice touch, but it felt kind of...\"repetitive\" sometimes, well in my oppinion.

can\'t think of anything else to critique on; most things that I was going to say have already been said.

Well, since my BB was like almost 30 pages and pretty serious I think you\'re more than fine to do a totally serious long BB haha I think you can make a super serious comic as long as you want as long as you make it entertaining.  Keep working on your anatomy and backgrounds, while you\'re getting better at them you still have a ways to go. I think you could have really slowed down for this since it\'s a BB and BBs don\'t have deadlines. I know it\'s difficult to maintain momentum and to keep patience with a longer comic but it\'d be really worth it to just slow down and give the comic everything you\'ve got since there\'s no deadline over your head. You need to work on your text layouts, while I understand what you were trying to do with the hand written text, you need to be careful with how it\'s laid out on the page and make it more legible. Storywise I found it entertaining and I enjoyed how twisted the comic was. I\'m really interested in seeing where the Shepherd goes next now that his life has changed.

Thanks. It was just I got scared that it was too much seriousness for people to take 20 pages of. But, next time I\'ll remember to think more about the flow of the story and stuff.

Good job on this one...there are a couple issues, though.  Like you mentioned, it looks like you didn\'t take your time on each page as much as you could have, which is understandable given that this is 20 pages and full color, but it brought down your quality a bit.  Also I had a little trouble following the story at times and you seemed to be unsure whether you wanted this battle to be serious or humorous, and the changes between the two throughout the battle could be a bit jarring.

I know I got carried away with the violence, but it\'s the only way I knew how to portray a bunch of stuff (without getting into it) that I did here. I  learnt a lot from doing all these pages in such a short time even though now I look at it, I can see I got really lazy with anatomy and line work in some/most places. After my next battle I kinda have to take a little break because of stuff, but that\'ll be a good thing since I can buy a sketch book like people have been telling me to and start drawing things that aren\'t my comic...So the basic idea is, once I come back I\'ll be super awesome and start winning some battles!

Helftan- um...it\'s scary getting a compliment from you lol, but thanks.
