Both very interesting characters.
Duredhel won my vote for an impressive visual entry and more dynamic storytelling. unclesex I liked yours, very good for four pages, just wasn\'t enough room to give the fight what it deserved.

Sorry Uncle Sex but I do not like your art style at all. I didn\'t like it in your forum threads and don\'t like it here either. I guess I am just not into the whole shock mentality that you protray. But hey, alot of other ppl liked it! =)

Duredhel, thi was very impressive. I disagree with the earlier comment that this battle was too short. I thought the pacing was right on. I\'m not on the windows hate bandwagon but I can\'t deny that you did some funny things with the idea. I really look forward to seeing where you can go with this.

and once again I don\'t have much to say...but...

uncle_sex- Great inks! The comic was pretty good man :D

Duredhel- Those colors blew me away D: really awesome comic for a one week deadline. :3
I do think the shadows could be a little bit darker in some panels though. Oh and another thing, I also think the color for the BG on page 8, on the last panel would havebeen better if it was not red so that the blood would sand out more :)

Sweet Battle guys, it was made of awesome! XD

Uncle Sex... you disgust me. You have disturbing mind that translates itsself on screen. You are fukked in the head and i love it! Them inksplatters can be quite confusing about what\'s going on.
Them nasty ass tits looked pretty good.
Too bad it was so short, woulda love to see more torture wich is one of your greatest field of expertise.

Duredhel - I love the excellent colouring, the OS bot looks so..i dunno...touchable. The clearing smoke and the brain poke actually made me applaud out loud. Can\'t believe you did all of it in a week.
And i think you\'re fighter is waaay too cool to enter the SDT, so hereby i publicly declare my bias for i desire this bot to win the tournament.

Uncle Sex - I liked your linework, and noticed you varied the line quality a bit, which I liked. There was nice inversion of black and white on your backgrounds, which helped objects stand out in the absense of shading. Speaking of shading, I think a little bit of it would have helped this comic some. As for the pace/flow of the comic, I could tell what was going on, but some of the attacks felt stilted, choppy. That said, the fight was brutal and very raw, but well drawn, which makes for a powerful entry into SDT. Well done.

Duredhel - I see no problems with your color pallette - your coloring is superb. Design-wise, I think you made every character and background look stylish and fresh. The story was fine, and it was especially good in the beginning and when Bot accidentally killed that civilian bystander. I did think it ended a bit abruptly, though, and would have liked to see some sort of concluding beat (of course, it can be argued that there\'s not much else to go after toaster mode!) I enjoyed it.

Uncle Sex - Wicked comic young man. There are some panels that I had a hard time making out what was going on. Make sure your more careful next time, so morons like me don\'t loose your pacing! Pure black and white is super hard!

Duredhel - Good job, reading your robot going about his destructive business was typical, but still enjoyable. Some of your panels are really big and have a lot of wasted negative space, which is typical for artist who draw comics on the computer. Next time around, try to balance this out by ether making your panels smaller, or arranging your characters/word balloons differently on your pages.

Not bad you two, good first showing in this tourney.

Uncle Sex: Raw hardly describes the energy you put into your comics man. You have one great showing here, short and sweet too. However, the inking here while pretty fucking awesome, also hurts you badly here. There\'s just way too much going on, and I think you can lighten up just a bit and still have something that would really make things pop out. I really liked what happened in this fight, but... it was just a bit stale to me. Meeting the opponent, fighting, and killing in the end.

We both know everybody will resort to this in the SDT, but with the one week deadline and a short amount of pages, it really can\'t be helped, right? Still, this is quite impressive for a one week deadline mang.

Dure: I gotta admit... I\'m not a fan of your comics, doesn\'t mean I\'m gonna be biased though. You\'ve got a good comic here, but I just feel like you keep on pushing that cult story with each and every character you\'ve got, it\'s nice to see you dedicated to their story, but you gotta try something different and step out of the box every now and then. But anyway, the art is good, but it seems you kinda stopped putting detail into backgrounds in favor of mounds of dirt and bricks with silhouetted  buildings in the background.

I feel like the story here was also kinda dragged out for what you\'ve got here. It\'s pretty much the same thing almost everybody is doing in this tourney: Find and meet the opponent, fight the opponent, KILL!! You got props for doing 10 fully colored pages, but with so many pages... a guy like me is expecting something a lot better than that. Still, it was a nice read and the compy jokes fit rather well here with your new character.

This was a pretty even fight for me to vote on, but I\'m leaning towards Uncle Sex on this one by a single point. Other than that, both of you put up one hell of a fight.

So rawww D:

Uncle: great stuff man, I loved the \"rawness\" there, and as it\'s a fight to the death, to put it simple, and at that, this does it\'s job really nicely. I think the inks this time around are kind of too busy, but personally I didn\'t find it bad at all, as it didn\'t mislead my reading (except maybe the second panel, which the baloons make it hard to descypher who\'s talking).

Dure: Cool paintings man! I love the comedy you put there, and it works! Graphically, I\'d just sugest you use more backgrounds, they are almost unexistent on action panels, specially towards the end (though I understand that you might have run out of time).

Good luck you both!

Unclesex-While I had the general understanding of what was going on in your half, the lack of balance between whites and blacks made it difficult to look at and comprehend. It would have also helped to zoom the camera out a bit to make the action more clear. I really liked how you drew OSbot and I liked how brutal this was, but the lack of clarity really hurt you.

Duredhel-Very impressive for a week battle! I found your battle very cute and entertaining. You still are having some issues with your color palette, I just feel like so many things are way too chromatic. I was also a little bothered how you jumped between using painterly speedlines and straight up line speedlines. And it seemed like the battle ended pretty abruptly, but that probably had to do with the deadline. But other than that, I enjoyed what you had
