I just wanna say you've come such a long way, especially with shots like the sitting pose, and the big shot with the screen, you're looking to be a real contender as an artist!  The others are right in that the first few panels could have been bigger.  I think they could have used more dramatic lighting.  Like Heathen said, it's better to be consistent, and even mundane shots can look really great with proper shading. You will learn this in time, with practice and from looking at art with dynamic light. Overall, you're doing great dude.  Feel proud!

I realize others have said it already but I do want to echo the comments about the webtoon format.  I think you're utilizing the spacing just fine from up to down.  But yeah the panels are way too small and don't really serve you in this capacity.

This turned out really good! The lighting is somewhat inconsistent, and a little flat sometimes, such as in the panel before he pushes the button. The grays get a little muddy in the panels after the lights are turned out, especially since the TVs came on, there should maybe be a bit more contrast. Panel 2, I kind of agree with Sunrise, but you still did a good job with that panel, it reminded me of an old Star Trek set, there’s a charm to it in its lack of drama. The last 3 panels, I really like. The closeup shot of him sitting in the chair was a good choice, though the spacing of that from the next panel does throw off the timing a bit, as that is supposed to be a very quickly read panel, and that space causes it to hang in our mind for too long before seeing the next two panels, which we are meant to hang on. And that last panel just turned out wonderfully.

I had a similar thought as Badger about the panel and text spacing and sizing. While I do enjoy the pacing that space establishes, for the most part, it also just feels like too much wasted space. The primary purpose of the webtoons style scroll format is to enhance the experience of reading comics on a phone, and to allow the physical act of scrolling to become a part of that experience. So at least for me, an old Luddite with a little iPhone 5, your panels are very small. The text wasn’t hard to read, but there’s a lot of unused real estate where the artwork you put so much effort into could be bigger. Finding a size and spacing that feels right will just take some experimentation on your part.

The only other little nitpick I have is that while I like the stainless steel texture you used for the gutters, I don’t like that it’s over the art inside the panels as well. Think of your panels as view ports, windows cut into that steel surface through which we are looking in at the scene.

I also want to say I’m really glad you decided to go black and white on this, as it lends a nice classic horror or Twilight Zone vibe to the comic, which I think suits Garland perfectly.

Garland was originally Nega-Harlow but he's his own NPC and is one of the chief's of staff for void's Morgue. Here is the playlist that will have the comics that feature Him in it: http://entervoid.com/index.php?action=playlists;id=198 this is currently only his second comic appearance.

Pretty neat to see a third party interest in the magical girl drama! Like badger said I really like the pose where he's sitting down, thats some nice lighting. I feel like the spaces between the panels was a little excessive and could have been moved closer. I think you could have done more dramatic light on the second panel as he's stepping into the room and having light pour into the darkness from the doorway. Overall not bad at all!

Julz: Is this Harlow? Character looks different enough that I'm thinking this is a different cat boy? Evil twin maybe?

I'm always happy to see more Garland, the lighting in the second to last panel with him sitting in the chair is great and the pose also has a lot of character! I'm not sure if the spacing of the panels and word bubbles is too far apart or not since I'm not very familiar with the infinite scroll format but it does feel slow to me, especially around the "all prepared for the main event" part. The spacing does add to the mood by making you slow down when reading so I'm honestly undecided whether it would work better if it was tighter or not. Not sure hahah but I like how this ties into the current tournament, really adds to the feeling that he's always watching! Great stuff!
