Lilah has a strictly-business attitude on the surface, but is very sensitive and empathetic to people internally. She has general superhuman powers; strength, speed, and faster healing ability. Because of her enhanced healing ability, injuries that would typically kill normal humans will not be fatal to her, but it’s still possible for her to die when it comes to extreme mortal injury. She typically tries to handle any battle she finds herself in mentally and strategically first, but she is trained in hand-to-hand combat when words and tactics aren’t enough.

Maddox is a mischievous supernatural entity. He is generally invisible and inaudible to most, unless someone has some sort of link to the supernatural, and he eats manifestations of negativity. Depending on the size of the negative manifestation, he will change size to be able to fit it in his mouth, but shrink back down as soon as he is done feeding. He absolutely loves to push Lilah’s buttons and tease her in the form of sleazy or generally inappropriate comments to her or about whomever she may interact with.

Lilah is Maddox’s tether to this plane, and he cannot exist or gather any form of sustenance without her. Inversely, Lilah’s superhuman abilities come from Maddox being linked to her. Maddox’s main goal is to feed on the negative manifestations of other beings. Since he is a supernatural being, Maddox can’t typically interact with the non-supernatural public. It’s Lilah’s job to make the negativity manifest itself so that he can feed.
