Leonard Johnson, simply known as Leo, is a compassionate, humble, and friendly guy who lives in the slums of City Royale known as the Everglooms(tentative titles). He participates in underground fights to raise a little extra money--which he gives half to his opponent afterwards. He always makes an effort to help others in anyway he can, going out of his way to do so.
Organized crime factions control City Royale’s businesses and law enforcement. Their lesser members, or grunts, terrorize the Glooms and its people, sell them drugs, extort businesses, and make their lives harder in general. As a child, Leo’s home was burned to the ground by a gang and was left to fend for himself was he wandered the streets with no home and no parents. Uncle Otis, an old and eccentric martial artist who ran a local dojo, was out for a walk and noticed a very young and very angry Leo picking fights with some of the local thugs. Otis saw not only that Leo getting was getting beaten up, but also that he was a courageous young fellow and decided to help him. After destroying the thugs with a couple of powerful attacks, he took Leo on as a disciple and began to teach him the martial arts. Leo was stubborn however, and did not want to listen to Uncle Otis. It wasn’t until he got his ass handed to him in the underground fighting rings that he realized that he needed technique.
A few years passed and Leo has become a strong young man. He has taken in Lucas as his student. As they both lost their parents through gang violence. With his proficiency in the martial arts, and with the help of a few friends, Leo will use his skills as a martial artist to eliminate organized crime in City Royale and uncover something bigger than he even imagined in the process.
