I haven't had internet at my apartment for 6+ months. I know everyone's circumstances are different but I also have a homeless friend who messages me on facebook almost daily. Assuming you're alive, if your computer, tablet, and sketchbooks all suddenly burst into flames, contact still shouldn't be such an issue these days.

for shame. Anyways, ernesto, you promised you'd post your comic up eventually as a beyond battle when you can. Bronesto does not break promises. So you will do it.

it wasn't so much 'screams' and 'tantrums', more so questioning and on my part, confusion.
In any case, I do hope to see both sides completed and submitted at some point in time.

Just in case anyone has any confusion in the future since this has happened a few times recently. Under Comic Requirements
"The only requirement when drawing comics for VOID, is that you must include your opponent's character in your comic. If you fail to do this, your comic will not be posted, resulting in an automatic loss."
So keep this in mind, everyone!

aaaaactually Angie the reason he didn't want to upload was because some people started screaming and throwing tantrums in the chat , and after that he was like "well, forget it then, no one's ever going to believe me and I don't feel like showing everyone my battle right now right there in the chat just because a handful of people want to see it."
Plus coatl is going to mexico, Energy did drop right off the face of the planet, and while yes, they could have both sent you a PM or email, coatl unfortunately didn't follow up after he asked energy to contact the mods to cancel (and then energy disappeared).
Someone's salty.

Yes, this all could have been avoided if you guys had just sent me a PM or email a week ago instead of wasting an extension. If Energy was able to contact Ernesto, he would have been able to contact me so that wouldn't have been an issue. Unless there was a mass act of mother nature that took out all the internet where Energy lives, there is always McDonald's, Starbucks, Kinkos, the library, etc. that all have wifi and/or computers the general public can use if you need somewhere to upload your comic when your net is down. When even McDonald's has wifi, internet being down isn't really an excuse. (outside of obviously mass power outages) It's even possible to move the pages onto your phone and email them to the mods.
Ernesto, what you uploaded did not go up because it did not feature your opponent's character which is an automatic default. Never just assume that you will get a pass by defaulting when your opponent defaults. I am always in favor of defaulters eating their default over cancelling the comic, so it's just safer to upload what you have. You can't act as though you were surprised this happened when I specifically told you last night it would go up as a double default.
(and you probably would have done more harm to your doubters by proving them wrong and uploading your comic instead of drawing a box of dicks and telling us to eat them. People don't like being proved wrong afterall.)

Did it not occur to either one of you to contact Angie to cancel and/or re-schedule....especially since you both knew well in advance?

I would rather have a default win than a double default. If you have pages then submit what you have.
