The vintage flavor of death tournament is coming back this January designed just the way you remember it! The 2018 Speed Death Tournament allows veterans and newcomers alike to bring the pain in a chaotic, fast-paced battle for survival! A tournament so simple its signup thread is just as quick and easy!

Instructions
-To sign up, all you need is a character sheet and name, no intro comic required! Simply post your character submission here in this thread, then submit your character for approval and re-use the character sheet where the submission form asks for comic pages. If you're brave enough to use one of your existing characters, that is also allowed!
-Signups will end on January 14th! If you need to call out, make sure you do so before time runs out or you may end up getting thrown into the roster!
-There is no limit of contestants! Though we will try to avoid an uneven roster list, which can lead to eliminations from the list. However, if we choose to try to add everyone, be prepared for the potential of being randomly placed in a 3-way battle
-Drawing time for each round is 1 week! 1-week battles are considered among the most difficult battles on void, so make sure you have what it takes to run the gauntlet for several weeks before signing up
-This is a Death Match tournament! Each battle is a death match and you must illustrate your opponent dying or you will be disqualified. If your opponent has a duo or team character submission, you must kill all characters named in said team! Sidekick characters do not need to be killed. (example: If a character submission is named The Flower Rangers made of five fighters, all five Flower Rangers must die. If a character submission is named Jasper Jones but his grandfather is also shown in comics and the sheet, aka a side character for story purposes, only Jasper Jones must be killed)

Pudding Washington is ~~great~~ amazing. He's not your run-of-the-mill student at St. Agnes School for the Superb. He's the student. He is top dog, excelling at using his powers and reaching the tip-top of his class. No one dares cross Pudding Washington, he's not just a the pretty face he appears to be. He's the bully, he's the cool guy. Women love him, men love him, and he loves himself. Super strong, super cool, super smart, is there anything Pudding can't do? Nope! And that is a very good thing indeed, because his upcoming finals are said to be the toughest ever dealt out in the history of St. Agnes School for the Superb. He's just gotta make it to junior year! However, tough exams or not, its no problem for Mr. Washington, the ~~best~~ BEST student in ~~school~~ ~~Void City~~ THE WORLD.

Pudding is able to blast off like a rocket. No part of his body is off-limits, he shoots them with ease! He's a whiz with his powers and nothing can stop him! The Motor Madness Metal Warehouse was the state of the art robotics manufacturing plant that a bulk of the VCPD police drones were manufactured at, but after the instatement of the NVCPD and the pointless discriminative war on furries being long over there was less need for robotic police officers equipped with weapons of war. Now the old plant sits at the edge of town by the old docks.So many horrible accidents have occurred in the plant that it has become a favorite spot for youngsters and thrill seekers to come to to try commune with the dead.

As much as I want to make this work, I'll be getting some test results in on Monday, which means I may or may not wind up with a surgery in just the next couple weeks, so I can't exactly claim I'll be good for any longer term commitments.

TL;DR: she's a student at the same school as Pudding (different grades) and can mess with matter to create magic-like effects.

A junior at St. Agnes School for the Superb, Ermintrude Dorothea Auteberry—better known as "Sludge"—hates the fact that her parents are the third biggest donors to the school. She hates that her family is rich and powerful throughout VOID. She hates that she's always the top of her class. She hates that she's never gotten in a fight, never kissed, never broken a bone, and has a perfectly balanced diet. In order to hide the fact that she's essentially the perfect model student, Sludge adopted a nickname she was given by some rude boys in 7th grade, grew her hair out, and started sitting in back corner of every classroom. She avoids interacting with the popular kids, instead gravitating towards the fringe losers who hang out in the hallway no one goes down during lunch.

Sludge is proud of one thing, however: she can manipulate the elements to create magic-like effects, alter the properties of bodily substances and tissues, or increase the volume of whatever's in her mouth. She can basically alter any simple material as long as she's able to take it into her body (usually through ingestion). While she mostly uses this on her own when nobody's watching (she still doesn't want the attention, after all), sometimes she has no choice but to break out her abilities under other circumstances...
