Where'd that magic go though?
I really like this concept as the impetus to enter the Magic Mayhem tourney, but I'm really thrown by her reaction to the loss. Like its no big deal. You establish Gwens joy over being an 'unbeatable team' with her magic and Regi's tech. This harmony being affected by a sudden inexplicable loss of magic should garner more than a flippant "ah well!" Where are the stakes? did Gwens magic really mean so little to her?
On top of that, What motivation does she have to try and get her powers back if she seems to care so little?
I certainly hope your first round sheds more light on the narrative here.

I really like your inks in this. I think the reason for that is how your blacks aren't spot blacks so it's pretty interesting and gives it a distinct style. though maybe some full spot blacks would help as well since it's hard to tell some stuff apart, could also be line width.

Oooo~ Looks like someone lost their magic!
This is a really nice start, It does a good job introducing the characters naturally. I love that you show just how bad her eye sight is even WITH the glasses on. And how exhausted she is by the time she finds her robot hero partner is a good example of showing and not telling.
The characters have a very nice communication going on. It reads like they've been friends for a long time before these pages take place.
The line art is crisp and I can easily tell what it is I'm looking at. The only thing I can say would improve this comic would be some colour. Even just some pastels in place to allow the mind to fill in the rest would have greatly improved these pages.
Over all, I really enjoy this! I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next. ;b
