This turned out really neat! I don't know much about either character, but I feel like there were some very very good deeds done, and some very very bad things in the background. I love it, and I really want to know more about what's going on in this part of Void City!

I'm digging this in-between story you got here, dude.  As a newer member of VOID, I also greatly appreciate the notes at the end.  They give us context in your character's canon from 7 years ago and invite us to read that happens next.
La Cucaracha's characterization here is so dang good!  Helping the less fortunate even outside his buggy uniform.  Bless this man for helping a poor soul.
