East Coast meetup?

East Coast meetup?
« on: Jun 30, 2017, 03:49 AM »
I've temporarily relocated near Pittsburgh, PA for work reasons and will be here for 3 months. I will probably never be here again so anybody who wants to finagle a Void meetup, we should try for it! Pittsburgh would be an ideal meet spot as its closest to me but I'm not opposed to a weekend in New York if I can find crash space or a cheap motel. Anybody interested?

I'm two hours from NYC and I think about 6 hours from Pittsburgh. Either way, lets get something going and get drunk

Should we just meet in NYC and do a thing? That might be a sorta centralized location with lots of things to do.

If it's NY I can guarantee I can't make it, that's almost 12 hours one way and I can't afford a plane ticket.

I am going to be in LA and SF from August 2-7, other than that I don't have anything major planned.

Shen, try looking on Airbnb? Maybe you can get something cool right in Manhattan? Are you driving? If so, make sure you have somewhere to park your car!! I bet some airbnb's come with a parking spot.

I totally want to try and make it!!!
August seems like the best time for me personally. New York is closer to me, but I could try to make it to Pittsburgh if necessary.

I'm down anytime in August at this point. I was considering going to Summerslam or NXT Takeover that weekend in August, but either way, I want to hang with Space Wife and the gang.

I really want to make this, but I live in Florida and august is when my birthday is. NY is quite the distance, I could try to somehow do this as a sort of birthday event for myself but I'm not sure if I could make it.

I can attest hanging with Shen was uber fun 10/10 would hang again.
That said, with so many voiders up to meet and be dweeby tourists in NYC, I'd actually be down for this. Doesn't hurt my birthday is in Aug, so it'd be a double treat. I may be west coast, but I'll keep an eye on dis!
