Thank you all for the critiques and helpful perspective.

Grita may have let out a few too many curses, could have avoided them entirely, I apologise. My opponent, the rough and gruff take no nonsense party girl reaper who would rather be somewhere else drinking, appeared to me as an opposite to Quint In a few ways. I had wanted another 2 pages but had a slow start.

This was a lot of fun and I hope my humour wasn't too obscure. I need to work on my story telling the most out of anything, besides time management, and look forward to the battles to come!

Thanks again for commenting and thank you mrpr1993 for going a round with me. We can do it again sometime 8)

I'm sorry to say that I wasn't a fan of either of these comics. Both of their jokes just consistently fell flat for me, but I guess that's how I usually feel with anything that leans into the grotesque. I don't think either of them properly gave Quint and Grita an encounter of significance—Quint's side does have a connection of sorts at least, but it still doesn't do anything with it, to me?

I will give props to Symon though for pushing out 7 pretty development-dense pages, especially with an impressive final splash!

I dig Grita's apathetic attitude, makes it feel like she's seen it aaaaall before.
And man... this is a theme isn't it. Your characters sure do love some burgs.
Can't say I blame them tho

This comic made me chuckle quite a few times, your jokes were pretty solid and I thought the interactions were amusing.
The sense of humor you apply to Quint makes him interesting, hope you keep up with it!

I'm seriously not a fan of meet and greet comics, which is basically but both of these are.

Pri: you could essentially replace Quint with any other character and the outcome would have been the same.  In fact, I didn't even know Quint was your opponent since you spent so much time focusing on the fat guy.  Your opponent needs more agency in your battles, otherwise it just seems unfair to them.

Symon: Your character interaction was a little better, but it ultimately ended up going nowhere.  I think you should have started the comic with the fake decapitation joke, then moved onto the joyride and made THAT the focus of your comic, instead of the joyride being the ending.
