GO FOR BROKE! / Re: Artillery Rebels
« on: Mar 10, 2009, 01:33 AM »
i'll start with a question: why is the stego cut into pieces?

the logo needs a bit of cleanup in my opinion. i don't know if you were going for a rough style but in that case it looks to clean. maybe that doesn't make sense but i hope you get what i mean.
also the first cartoony one looks nice. needs just a bit of cleanup and a bit more anatomical correctness and i think it will be awesome :)

i like your stuff but you could really step it up a lot if you work out your lines a bit.
they could be cleaner and drawn with a lot more confidence (don't know if this is the word for what i mean)
sorry for my bad english :O

i read comics by Lewis Trondheim right now.

donjon -84

and donjon 103

i'm not sure what this comic is called in english, but it is very philosophic

A.L.I.E.E.N. a wordless comic about weird stuff that happen to some alien kids

very nice to read those.
the style is simple for the most parts (what makes them lovely) and the stories are very good and kinda funny.
if you people get the chance, you should check out one of Trondheim's works.

i just watched spiderman 3. it was a nice movie. maybe a bit packed with to much shit. the action was lovely. not sure about the rest of the story. to much romance/drama maybe. all in all i´d give the movie a 7 or 8 out of 10.
btw, is Black Snake Moan worth watching?

last things i listened to were
all the leaves are brown by the mamas and the papas
and
no monkey by wally warning :)

@kuro
you should maybe check out "fantomas" with the album "the director´s cut"

i got myself the bone volume one... whatever its called.

1300 sites of good, good and more good. TOP!!

this thing is so heavy. i just can read it when it lies on the table :D
the paper is a bit thin, so you see what is on the next page. but with better paper it would be even heavier and thicker.
