Then this is a case of inexperienced doctors, doulas, or midwives.  They are trained to try and reduce the amount of tearing, which must have been of inhuman proportions for her to be rendered immobile.

Yes, that's it exactly.

Okay, I like this character for a few reasons, and I think he makes an interesting villain. I'll go over them:

  • His obsession with eggs is really interesting! And the fact that he has egg based powers due to it. There are a lot of potential plotlines from there, like, if its obsession-based, perhaps if his obsession changes, his powers would change? That could always be fun in case the egg angle gets boring.
  • His motivations are just to build the world into his perception of beauty. That's CLASSIC villainy. There's nothing more and nothing less to it, and to give it any more depth would take the wonderful campiness away from it. And hoo buddy do I like me some kitsch.
  • A THRONE OF EGGS. HOW IS IT STAYING TOGETHER? I MUST KNOW. Also for whatever reason the bleeding eggs imagery hits me in a weird spot and gets my skin crawling. So nice job on that.
  • I like that you gave him limitations on his power and stamina via the 4 eggs limit.

Overall, I enjoy this character.

Things that I would work to improve on:
  • Some of his poses look like they are referenced from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure! That's pretty cool, but I'd also recommend practicing sketching from classical artwork and statues and such, since Araki (the JJBA artist) references them himself. You can actually see the improvement from when he started the series and his most recent stuff. It's AMAZING, and it'll help you grow, which is all any voider wants to see from anyone.
  • At least as a personal preference, I think your lines could be cleaner. I struggle with this as well, but when I do go back to take the time and clean up my lines and leftovers from erasing and such, it pays off big-time. I figured i'd pass the info on to you! :3
  • Out of curiosity... I've seen maybe two body types from your art. Do you happen to do ones in-between? Diversifying your characters' shapes can add a lot of realism to your stuff. I know it's something I need to work on as well.

Keep improving with your art!

Thank you, I appreciate your advice! I've been meaning to study more figure drawing and anatomy.
I like to do exaggerated body types, but I sometimes try and do something more realistic, but it always turns out looking
misshapen to me. Anatomical studies would definitely help me there for sure!

It does my heart good to know that you like my character! I've been working hard on building up the
Egg Dealer to make him interesting and so that I can improve my comic making skills.

I submitted the Egg Dealer yesterday, and I just finished the third intro page tonight.

But, I couldn't figure out how to add the 3rd intro comic page to my character submission as an update so I'll just
put it here:

You submitted your character and THEN you did a third intro page? Ah yeah no it doesn't work like that, as soon as you submit a comic its done, that intro is already up for review for the approval committee.  If you get in, your intro is 2 pages. If you dont, next time, draw the whole comic first and THEN submit it lol

Thank you all for your helpful feedback. The Egg Dealer got declined for now, so
I'm going to rework the intro comic, study more anatomy and comic making techniques and then I'll
resubmit him.

Your advice has really opened my eyes on what I could do better. I'll definitely work on making
this more polished.

Consider the advice you got in your feedback email and study more some expressions and anatomy. We do strangely like this character so keep it up!

Psst hello, and hi and nice to meet you, BoogidiBzdo! >w</

I hope things go super well with your egg-o boy! He seems interesting, I actually really wonder what kind of battles we'll be seeing from you, when you get him in!

Did you btw know that Entervoid has a discord channel? It could possibly really help you with getting to converse with others, and share your art easier, with quicker feedback and stuff! If you don't do discord that's cool, but like if you're interested in joining that, I just wanna plop the link here so you know it exist! I really hope things with your character go well! Good luck getting him in!

Thanks! It's exciting to see so much interest in the Egg Dealer!

I don't have a discord account yet, but I might think about joining it. It does sound useful.
