Haha, that's pretty awesome.
Good job dudes! And Tom, that mute scar is pretty killer. I really like it. Take one loud mouth, vulgar bitch, and mute her. Touche.

Well I updated my design sheet and bio.
How can I do this before the winner is declared? Well aside from the 'NoduhshitPandorawon', I just did all the scars at once anyway.

I will not deny that upon initially viewing Scarma, there is a feeling of disappointment at the incomplete entries as well as the failings of two individuals who would have been able to make entertaining comics had they tried. And while these feelings are strong and bred from the initial excitement and hype, they should not overshadow what is here. There is effort here and even though life shat upon many people, there is enough here to prove that people did try. And if nothing at all, comics have been provided during this lull period of Void and that in itself, I am thankful for.
Well Qyz, sorry I stabbed you in the gallbladder. These things happen. One night of drunken revelry and then knives get tossed around... Anyways your ridiculous scars were fun to see, and no not the real ones.
Oh Rofl, life shat upon you twice. And its a real pity too because you had some excellent ideas that I had hoped to see realized. But I guess they were simply too good to exist. And I like Andre, more and more each time. He reminds me of a superpowered Shaft for some reason and that makes him awesome.
Charm: Well you were one of those people of which there was some doubt as to whether you'd deliver. While we had all hoped, eehhh... All I can ask is that you at least show something for your commitments in the future.
Ari this was a pretty awesome entry. I know you're always saying how slow you are but there's a good amount here. So I guess speed is something to work on. But your BnW is so nice here and makes me feel ashamed And the story was well written, there is a serious sense of tension and despair in the story. The end is appropriately cinematic. That large space at the top conveys that sense of quiet and stillness and dread. The story and execution are probably one of my favorites here.
This Pandora comic is probably the crowning achievement of the whole event. So five weeks is what it takes to get this out of you huh? ;P I would wish in the future the art were less sketchy but at the same time I understand the lack of refinement with the awe inspiring amount of details here. Other than that there's not a whole lot to criticize. I loved how the characters were practically fighting for the wrong conclusion and only realized their mistake at the end. I really wanna see what happens to Pandora from here on out. Or maybe she'll just get a simple reset. Disposable assassin for the win.
Mecid, Nowhere Boy is a great character who evolved into an interestingly dramatic character from his humble beginnings. There is a certain amount of love here in the backgrounds which really shows through. And though it is clearly awesome and much appreciated, this was probably your undoing at the same time. The story is well written though and it's an interesting metaphysical approach to the concept of Void itself as a sort of waystation for characters. I find it funny in a way that Andre provides the exposition at the end. It's always up to the authoritative black man (i.e. Samuel Jackson, Morgan Freeman) to explain what the fuck is going on. Great job.

This is the most disappointing Scarmageddon ever....
I don't give a fuck what happens in peoples lives I will never get defaults and unfinished work. Especially for a 5 week comic I do applaud those who didn't complete their comics for submitting something readable!! But that is a small consolation prize...my disappointment knows no bounds
Qyz: Honestly I thought this was the most clever out of all the entries...you skipped the story and gave people what they wanted...the fucking Scars!!
Charm: Who the fuck are you?
Ari: You're my underage lover...I always enjoy your comics...I wished you finished your BnW pages make me think we should have a BnW battle someday you're so fucking awesome...I wish I was as far along in my art as you are at your age...envy is in my soul..!!!
ODK: When you're good..you're REALLY FUCKING GOOD! Solid entry..good story gruesome scars there's no reason you shouldn't win this...if you don't the gods must be crazy
Mecid: I will echo others Story I think is the best out of all the entries...but unfinished work just has no place in this arena...

Pretty impressive submissions guys.
I liked the introspective surreal undertone in yours Mecid, almost like you're calling out for help or something ;P Kick in the vadge was epic!
Dark Knight yours reminded me of the early James comics and Shelde ones. I really like the police write up at the end explaining what injuries were sustained. Nice splosions too
Marcel it felt a little rushed and thee was just a bit too much empty space but I got the jist of things. good effort and scale!
Rofl it sucks you had the ink accident, it started off interesting. Your colours are slick. Kudos on the last page with the injuries haha
Qyzex...lmao, asian accents and vanishing nipples! Hope you get better mate. Good effort none the less!
M.E. Charm not much to say but disappointing I guess?
Thoroughly enjoyed the read guys, thanks

I'm giving this one to TODK . It was the most complete and just flat out awesome
The others were great too, just suffered from being incomplete feeling. Then of course there is the default, which is poo.

Qyz: Sorry you didn't finish, I liked the ideas you had
Rofl: Man, this was looking really good. I really would have liked to see this completed (either of your ideas).
Aribooboo: Nice comic, I was a little unclear as to who the 'enemy' were though and things got a little fuzzy as soon as they went back underground. I like the premise and the setup but the plot seemed like it needed a little more fleshing out. Maybe I read it to fast.
Mecid: I really liked this one, it was looking pretty good too, at least for the first half. Neat premise, and you really nailed Pandora pretty well, props for that. Felt a lot deeper and more complex than your standard void fare, and how you managed to fit scars in that was pretty awesome.

Another quick critique
Qyzex: I think you could of done a lot more, I do understand the situation you underwent however so I won't go any further into this.
M.E. Charm: Yer fucking useless.
Roflqu: Sorry to see that you lost your pages to an ink spill, I'm not buying the broken computer apology as I think you used that excuse before.
Aribooboo: Fucking ace beginning! Wish you would of finished this all up as I really liked what you had going on here with the story.
TODK: Holy shit! :O This was really nice, I do wish you'd ink your stuff more often, but still this looks great! You've got my vote for killer story, art, and brutal scars!
Mecid: You're in the same boat as Ari, great story going down, but I really wish you could of finished this up, I think you two could of done better with fewer pages.
I really liked what was put forth here, but I'm going with TODK on this one!

I've only read Nowhere Boy's comic so far (probably because he's the only character here who I'm familiar with), but I have to say that I'm really impressed with your storytelling and your art. I like the newer style you've been using, and the inks are very clean (when they're there ). I'm hooked on the storyline of Nowhere Boy because it's so much more like real life than most of the characters on here. If I ever get going on VOID again, he's totally on my hitlist!

As a reminder to everyone since I got a bunch of emails last night, please email your pages to Toast if your upload fails. Because while I can manually upload your pages, I can't really do anything with them because your comic will show up as a default for some reason if I do it. Always send pages to toast@entervoid.com and post a comment here about having upload problems.
