BrellaFrog- Kruger is an awesome character but he didn't get quite enough chance to shine here ^^; he threw a time traveler and then went "what?" and I also kind of went "what?" I feel like the stage direction got me turned around or maybe I missed some element- how many Merricks were there at a point? Is there still a Merrick in front of him? But i love all your details and the way you draw Merrick and I would totally watch those slasher flicks lol
PoMo- how did you find time to BREATHE? this looks amazing, I cant believe you found time for all this detail and beautiful colour? also wait has Merrick always been 15? i feel a little bad that Kruger didn't get a chance to be any kind of cool in your comic cuz I like him but it was still really clever, if horrifying lol what a strange experience for Merrick. I barely know how to critique this, its way beyond my level lol you did fantastic, great job!

Thanks for the comments so far everyone! You're all super lovely <3
Brollyfrog I love how you draw Merrik! I laughed out loud a couple of times reading your side, so thanks for a very enjoyable battle!
Jong, u babe. Thanks for the feedback. U've made some super good points so next time I'll consider overall page compositions a bit more carefully. I still feel like wording is something I'm pretty weak at so it's good to know not all the dialogue was clunky haha! : )
Gonna go lie down for like 10 hours now.

@UmbrellaFrog: Beautifully clean and precise linework! However, I feel like you could have used more blacks to help contrast the shape of your figures more, like how the barrel of Merrick's gun pops out well very well (page1, 3rd panel). Sometimes your actions are hard to read due to the overcleanliness of your lines (page 2, panel 2) and I feel like you could benefit more when your characters are in action by incorporating folds in clothing that creases into the direction of action in movement. This would be a more economical way of showing action and it would put the very little blacks you *do* happen to get in there to good use.The character actions shouldn't have to rely on captions to tell the readers what is happening.
@Mouse: Wtf man, this is easily the best first round comic for KoV! Your color and your blacks possess a ton of charisma. You can easily get into the world with the wealth of details you put into the comic- however- i feel like the power of the artwork overshadows interest in the plot, including aspects in the composition itself such as dialogue that exists in word bubbles/boxes- especially in the first 2 pages. As an example I feel like you could have created more interest in the first page by creating one large establishing shot of Merrick's room and then placed smaller, more focused shots of Merrick's reactions and movements in smaller panels. I would actually put the 4th panel in much bigger panel though because its such a great shot of Merrick's body language. My investment in the story didn't begin until Merrick starts interacting with Kruger because thats when we get to see Merrick's personality come through more, and your use of dialogue is better-rounded. Anyways, knitpicking is the most i can do on an entry like this. Good work!

Jesus, these are both absolutely awesome. Frog, your comic made me laugh with that ending, and I love the background in that second panel. Really beautiful!
Mouse, holy fuck, how did you draw this so damn fast. It's gorgeous, the color choices are awesome, and just really cool overall. All of you guys are insane with your ability to do this shit so quickly.
Really excellent comics!

Mouse- This looks great! I like the radio text going out of focus/scrambled like that. I liked this story a lot and your environments are amazing! Nothing really to pick on- this is pretty solid
