It was Blue Warrior that inspired me to create Mr.Awesome and he was a complete character on his own.

this was brought to my attention, and it actually sounds interesting, if only because pairing a little girl and a giant monster together would be funny. I dunno if I'll actually be signing up though, since I should prolly work on other things. I guess we'll see!

Well... all tournaments have conditions - this says that a person should have two characters, and they can even be dead ones. If someone have only one then if he really wants to join then he can try to create a new one through normal process - I think that's fair since nobody that have two characters got them through any other process - or he/she won SDT.Only two more players to log in and there won't be any need for one character people to join...

This seems to recall the recent 'controversy' on Pyras' thread. You might see the task as supremely difficult because you're trying to stay totally true to all characters involved. Because most people seem to have this misconception we have this illusion of a defined universe that is basically defined by having everyone's character as their author intended. You should be true to the characters to an extent but you shouldn't be afraid to rewrite them a bit to suit your needs.

I'll tell you what, for nothing else, it's really cool to see my art then side by side with my art from like last year/early this year.
I would love to do this but I'm really busy, college just started a new quarter and I am already swamped with stuff to do. I really need to focus on my HW this time around, the invitational came around at the same time as my final projects and stuff were getting due last time and so I utilized time I could have to get better marks on a comic. Not that I regret it haha, I just want to focus.
So a Straps and Luna tag team (which would be really fun) will have to wait. Good luck to those that do this!

So you don't need to keep on eye on the horizon, wondering what else we might have under our hats. Put your time into this, or doing some matches or Beyond Battles.

I wonder how the toruneys will be divided. I was hoping that there would be no telling who's in what team but there'll be 3 winners XD 24 participating and 3 winners :) That way if all rounds are random, you don't have to be sad that someone cool you'd like to battle is in other tournament.

Ah, no. There's really no time in the books for a big finale that I'm gonna hold on to. Granted, the people who reach the finale can certainly make up something if they WANT, but this supposed final round would start on the 20th of December and end on the 3rd of January. Making people plow through Christmas AND New Year's just sounds like a cocktail of bad to me, so I don't intend to have anyone be forced to go through it.
Once again, to the yet un-named winners, if you would LIKE to have such a finale, then please, make one afterwards. Talk to Toast about it or whatever, but that's really not something I wanna touch.
