Location: The city of Void.

The Past : A power hungry young man, looking only for ways to improve his fighting style and increase his abilities, focusing on merging the shadow element with his fighting style. He has challenged countless opponents and has brought them all to their knees in defeat, having never lost a match. Except to one. A young man named Vyktory. He had attempted to take the young man\'s fire-based power and merge it with his own Shadow powers. He failed and lost the match after a long exhausting near death battle. However he did not give up. He went after Vyktory\'s sensei, and stole the old man\'s control over fire, murdering him in the process. Merging the shadow and fire powers together, Gauge managed to create a sort of Black Flame, to which he still does not fully control. He has somewhat successfully integrated that with his fighting style, and seeks to defeat Vyktory with his newfound power. After being anonymously tipped that Vyktory would be entering the VOID tournament, Gauge followed suit, hoping to get his chance for payback.



The present: His driving hatred for Vyktory has begun to diminish as he faced his losses in the VOID tournament. Realizing that there were those out there more skillful and more powerful than him, Gauge set out on a traditional old fashioned quest to seek new strength. However training is not the only thing the slightly insane young man had in mind..
