haaaa, I almost missed it but i saw that poster on page 19, and saw both their names on the list at the end XD you wanna fight bro you fuckin got one LOL! I loved this, I loved the bright colours and the action, Cruz getting punched to death in the latter half was so goddamn cool and the whole concept of jackie is phenomenal, I'm glad hes sticking around, you did great work this whole tourney! I agree with Kozi in that this raises more questions than it answers (whose "her"? that seemed like such a big moment but it just made me feel like I was missing something vital) but i look forward to more of his adventures! welcome to the death tournament survivor's club~

BARREL- Its clear you came into this tourney with a saga to tell, so I'm very glad you made it all the way to the end to tell it from start to finish!
I had to read the last couple rounds in hopes of seeking more context to Jackie's motivations, but I found myself asking more questions than getting answers from the battles themselves. Perhaps it can't be helped. It is tough to cobble together a cohesive narrative when you don't know who you're up against battle to battle. Still, what you managed to put in definitely made for a compelling ride.
You kept things under your hat and went all out where it counted. You've already heard me spout off about this, but the move of sacrificing his very flesh for an army of hands is pretty danged neat. The payoff panel of multiblows to your opponent was really cool. I really wish there was more context regardinfg the hat for me to *feel* something alongside Jackie's outrage. Like, who is 'she'? Why is her hat important and precious? What is the link with the ties throughout your battle? You've answered these because I've asked, but if I'd only read this comic on its own, I don't think the battle as is wouldv'e been able to explain those neat contextual tidbits
Still, this was an impressive effort and really entertaining finale to this tournament. Supah grats- Jackie is scary as hell (also I see mimi on that list!)

The rise of a new villain

As usually on the lineart side almost everything is on point. Many of the early pages feel empty though even with colors, could have benefited from some shades. I love Jackie's 'final form'. I can't wait to see more from this fiend (and Geisser for that matter)

Barrel this comic came out amazing, the tone was really nice and concise and the dialog was fun and to the point it really felt like a entertaining ride with a cool character that had a lot of the fat cut off for a good reading solid comic, I also really enjoyed the little nod to evolution you added with Jackie and it felt like a natural progression of his powers. I am also glad it didnt get bogged down by a lot of the god talk or cosmic importance, that it was a well paced nope moment and went back to a scene between two people trying to kill one another. It was really good and probably one of my favorite comics on the site yet! thanks for making it.

After a lot of discussion, the staff decided that out of fairness to Barrel, Roflqu's comic had to be defaulted. Even with technical difficulties, we can't allow someone to have 12+ extra hours to turn in their comic.
Roflqu did have some completed pages, but he did not show his opponent dying, which is a requirement.

Bobo: It was all Rofl and Barrel's secret plan to enter the TTT before this match went up and then win that tournament before finishing this one. I ruined their plans, sorry guys

I seriously have no idea how no one noticed, but yes the *one* staff member who can set up matches made a boo boo and now everyone gets extra drawing time, so I'm not mad. I don't know what salt you think is on this, but it was just a mistake.

It was my fault I did it, I intentionally held them back to make everyone mad.

Astro Sean: Not trying to poke the bear here, but this tournament finale seriously went a whole week without being put up in the "comics being drawn" section and we have a staff of ten or so people, including an array of members who frequent the site basically on the hour every hour. I'm not involved in the battle or part of the staff, but boy this is layered with salt.

Ah yes, because mods aren't people with lives of their own who can never make a single mistake ever. If you were so concerned about this, why didn't you inform the mods of this, 2-3 days after the semi finals were over? Lighten up, you old fogie, I'm happy this accident happened if it means we are getting BALLER comics. I'm confident the mods won't let this happen again

GOOD LUCK TO BARREL AND ROFL, YOU NEVER MIND THIS SALT, DO YOUR BEST AND STAB EACH OTHER GOOD
