Wow, that might be the single best battle I\'ve read considering how good both entries were. Usually one side is really good and the other is lacking but both really caught my interest even though they were pretty similar.

It\'s an even bigger compliment considering I usually don\'t enjoy comics in B&W. =P

Unfortunately, I have no well thought out critiques. I\'m just here to squeal like piggly fangirl, especially for pi-e, since I\'ve always been waiting for another battle from her. Both of your entries were fabulous, and like Kotori said, I admire Pi-e\'s nice, clean art that looks so professional to me. You are just great at drawing the hottest, most softest looking girls ever, and I laughed at that \"I wish I was lesbian\" part. Thank you<3

And Duredhel\'s pages were all so detailed! So. Much. Details. I really love that about comics. I also like how well you ended your section by giving us a peek of possible story for your next battle, maybe? I\'d like to see that as quickly as possible. And thanks for saving my life with that tentacle jokes.

It\'s hard to leave crits for some battles... simply because it\'s hard to find faults. XD But like I promised, I shall take a shot at it.

Pi-e, I totally enjoyed your side of the battle. Your crisp lines do very well with your style of coloring. And the fan service bits were hilarious. (And the naked Akantha, chibi or no, was just plain wrong. And yes, I noticed it.) There really isn\'t too terribly much I can find WRONG with it. And I looked. Really, I did. >_> Yours was the smoother flow, storywise, though... so you got slightly higher score in that area.

Dure, I love how you color... and your linework is also something that appeals to me. In that aspect, I gave you slightly higher points in the art quality. It\'s a smoother softer art, but that is a matter of preference here. What did get you lower points was your side felt more choppy, esp at the very end when it went from extreme goofiness to Logos(woot, good to see her show up). This might also be a preference, but it might have worked better if you had just shown a glimps of Logos... a taste? The longer 2 pages with her talking was a very sharp contrast to the previous battle pages and was distracting from it.

In the end, I had a hard time critting this. I\'m sure others will do a better job, but there are my 2 cents. :\\ Sorry it wasn\'t more helpful.

Anyhow, ANY constructive criticism will be well received tho. Since we can\'t see exactly what scores we got in what categories until the voting is over, we dunno what we were lacking, what was bad and what was good. So really, any comments with possible improvements or particularly good points we should repeat in future battles will be amazing. After all, we both joined to learn ^^
