Golden: Lovely high quality inks as usual! The entire vibe and situation here is very high concept and I'm super interested, you've obviously got an inspired idea here, and I am totally looking forward to see how this Jacob's Ladder-ass comic goes. Seconding that the visual storytelling is PERF!!! Although the dialogue, Jonos expositing in such detail how his psyche is doing and has been doing for an indeterminate time period, did feel a little clunky, but I dunno how else you could do that?

Orion: aww man D: i at least appreciate the stuff you were doing with composition! if it panned out, i'm sure it would've looked rad.

Golden: I liked this a lot. The character acting really helps the visual storytelling, especially since your protagonist doesn't speak. I do wish there was more shading, even if it was just rough cell-shading. The posing and anatomy of your characters is very solid, but there are some areas where it gets a little strange. Watch out for the musculature around shoulders and upper arms, they seem distorted is some of the action panels. The necks of your characters also seem flat, but this is where some shading could add muscle definition to the form. I also totally get that you did all this in 1 week, so corners will always be cut to get a longer comic out in that deadline.

Orion: That sucks about your tablet. I'm glad you submitted something anyway. I do like the free-form panel-less layout, it feels very dream-like.

Golden: I am very much enjoying the approach you took golden, and I hope you keep this level of quality storytelling up going forward.

Thank you Minteh and Monday! It means so so so SO much to me that you both enjoyed my comic and the way I express this couple’s hardships and understanding of one another!
And yeeeeah Monday! I had to include what happened to Sukri in your comic~ I’m all for honoring those I’ve fought before ;)

Golden I am so glad you joined this tournament. And the small details you included about the character design had me screaming in public when I realized whose hands those were. Since we're no longer super murder enemies I'll be rooting for you all the way !

Orion: Better luck next time.

Golden: This was comic of the round for me tbh. It was really emotive and I feel like you really channeled your love for the chars into the strife they're running into right now.  I love the connection they have and the struggle is gonna be rough but worth it in the end for them if they make it through!

Orion: Sorry to hear you ran into problems, was this picking up from your BB?  I hope you'll work away at it when you can and continue Jonos' story!

submitted But I can't say that this went all that well. The week started out with my tablet dying on me and subsequently waiting the first 2 days for a new one to come in. and Once i had it starts and stops of getting it to work and then getting it to work again until I got the hang of it. By then I only had what you see before you and honestly I am rather disappointed in myself regardless of the technical difficulties.

Goldie! Best of Luck to you in the Tourney! You have some lovely characters and I hope you make it to the top!
