Salutations! I'm Meepert and I'm here to observe and commune in the forums! I used to compete in OCT's, but fell out of drawing and into writing. I'm a novelist now!

Right now I'm writing a novel and working on some homebrew games. I also program from time to time.
I'll be heading back to college real soon.

I'm hoping that my novels may take off and I'll get to do writing full-time.

hey guys im new to the site any folks stay in the bay area California? My name is graphicDreamer or GD for short, i have also been called "Got Damn", "God Damn'it" by not really anyone in particular. But im an artist and i just moved to Cali by way of NC, and i want to explore my love comics through application. have no idea where to start but here, literally here. So would any care to share some ideas for characters or stories they have?

[member=21008]Domoz[/member]: VOID was pretty much my first time making comics (I made a couple of incomplete ones in grade school and made a short-lived comic strip with a friend in high school, but those don't count in my book lol)! I'd recommend you just dive into the Incubator with a new character and whatever kind or quality of comic you can come up with, and open yourself up to advice, critique, and direction from the community!

[member=21004]graphicDREAMER[/member]: I'm pretty sure there are quite a few Bay Area folks on here, so hopefully they chime in themselves. As for ideas for characters or stories, I would just dive into the comic archive or check out some user-made playlists and see what people have done in the past. You might also hit up [member=19541]MeepertMeep[/member] and see if the two of you could collab as an artist/writer duo if that suits your fancy!

Hey y’all! I tend to go by Riftrunner or simply Rift around the web. My long time pal Pyrasterran introduced me to the Void. I’m an avid reader, love video games even if my Xbox 360 has been dead for a year, and have been obsessed with superhero comics for as long as I can remember.

While I’ve been known to draw on occasion (to varying degrees of success) I’ve been out of practice for a long time plus my scanner is no longer compatible with my comp so seeing any of my subpar art will take awhile. My main strength however is writing (I’m getting close to self publishing my first book and I’m in talks to publish a different book traditionally). As a huge fan of comics and one not particularly thrilled with the direction the industry has taken from a storytelling perspective, I figured what the heck, may as well write my own. When PyrasTerran showed me this place I was ecstatic to see all the creative minds at work here and I figured what the heck, may as well try my hand at it, and so here I am.

Hi, I'm Dansome. I call myself that because i personally fancy myself as handsome and my name is Dan so i combined the two words because i really like puns. I'm a huge fan of the post-apocalypse genre (being very into Bestheda's Fallout and Borderlands... if that counts??), campy things and action. FF7 is my cardinal sin.

My passion is pretty much comic making which is why I'm here! I hope to get to know you guys and make inappropriate puns while doing so!

There were a lot of bad guys. If you are on team Hojo and/or Scarlett then yes. We will have to fight to the death. It is inevitable.
