Getting out of the way: I found you both having funny comics so props to that!

Hiemie: Love the colors, I would repeat what Kozi said that it would be nice to see you vary your angles/POVs more, it's not that they're too bad here but it would be great to see you push it further.

Hobbittastic: I like the background but I don't like that all the characters are devoid of shades, I'm guessing that was a stylistic choice but for me it feels unfinished.

GJ guys! great products

HIEMIE- This has gotta be one of your better comics by way of comedy. I was seriously laughing my head off at some of the gags in here and that's super great! Right off the bat, the first page with Meredith shaking Boom had me giggling. Her smile while she's just a blur in the panel is a great effect. You got a smidge of dynamic angles going on, but I ache to see you really vary your angles in your paneling. You seem really comfortable with straight on/side representation of events in most of your comics and in some cases it totally works. Gives it a more 'putting on a play' feel, but in this one with helicopters busting through walls and gangster kitties running amok, I feel the action needed some intense angles to add that extra punch. Like even an intense angle on Boom introducing the Tallcat :3 would've added more amusing punch to how stupid long that phone was. I didn't know much about this particular void gang of yours, but after reading this I want more Meowfia comics plz.

HOBBIT- Rather like this muted almost sepia comic! Really appeals to my aesthetics, and while I was a little thrown at how flat your characters were by way of color, after another read through, I see it's meant to ensure they pop out from your shaded backgrounds. Also, Booms new outfit. I laughed when I realized it looks like freakin' pajamas. Makes me wonder just how in the know they are about modern fashion or nighttime clothes?

Dig seeing Meredith showing off some serious magical chops with a transformation spell. Talk about some sassy kitties (though I chuckled over the fact Boom still looks derpy, even in cat mode). I know your paneling made for some difficulties with word bubble placement, but do keep an eye out for your flow of dialogue. Your layout on page 5 leaves me wanting to read Merediths word bubble first in the 2nd panel when it seems we should be reading Booms first. Still, despite the mild hiccups, the hilarious and pretty gross payoff to Meredith keeping it real was awesome. I'll never look at hairballs the same way again. :P

oh man these were both so hilarious with such awesome, expressive art i barely know how to vote here! I read these both several times, they're so entertaining! Poor Meredith is always suffering something! At least in Hobbit's it wasn't something Boom did this time! Holy shit, Hot!Morty is ridiculous XD and Hiemie, those last three panels are the best gag! Great job, you guys!

Oh man, I already told you in person but I'll say it again; I really had a lot of fun with  reading this. Each page was super engaging, and I loved the set up for last page's gag.  You did good in getting loose and experimenting with Boom and Meredith's expressions. I'd love to see more of that from you in future comics!

The sepia tones and textures provided a good setting for the comic's dingy scenery and mood.  Loved the jokes in this one! Metro-Morty is one fine mother strutter of a man!  The only thing I found slightly off is when Boom and Meredith left the alley entry in page 2. At that point the reader could assume Dr. Fab and Morty ManJuggers already left the scene, showing their situation as less alarming, and losing the point of them crossing through the alleyway to begin with. I think having another shot of Morty and Fab walking closer towards them would've retained that continuity, making Meredith turn herself and Boom into cats before they take notice.
Honestly, this was also a super fun read, and I enjoyed the character interactions and humor!

A great round of applause to the both of you, for managing to create entertaining entries within the limits of 6 pages!

Hiemie-  I love the jokes you made with the Meowfia leader, Meredith's anatomy, and all the expressions you gave Boom (though I love the expressions Meredith had too, Boom's at the bottom of page 1 really sell the setup to the cell phone bit). That cell phone is fucking great and the final gag is worth all the buildup.

Though, I thought there was going to be the punchline that the Meowfia was still better than most phone companies? Or was that just implied, because to be honest, a statue as payment for a smartphone (if theres no monthly payments) is a pretty good price for The Limousine of Cell Phones.

P.S.- it still blows my mind you do watercolor dude. like theres some areas that are messy but like---its watercolor-- its one of the hardest mediums to use

Hobbit- WHAT LENGTHS MUST A GIRL GOOOOO

This is great, I love the implication that Meredith got Boom a dress out of a fuckin dumpster and then is like OH SHIT THEYLL NOTICE I DRESSED YOU FROM THE TRASH. also the expressions here-- page 2's are my favorite. ALSO I really appreciate how you distinctly made Boom and Meredith identifiable even as cats.

A part of me yearns for a transformation sequence, even just a single panel, but you had limited page count so I can understand. As well, I would've liked more color and variation in values BUT considering the circumstances that happened I won't fault you for it at all. I'm glad you were able to still turn something in-- that's dedication!!

P.S. you heard me laugh for a solid two-three minutes at Hot Morty so it goes without saying how great that is

Honestly, Hiemie, I love your comic; I've read it like 8 times. My boyfriend thinks it's the funniest thing my characters have been in. Boom might just have to keep that phone. I love how nice the cats are to Boom. The faces are so funny, it's colorful and it's hard to pick a favorite part. Thank you so much for this comic I love it I love it
