You should do some troubleshooting and get it to work, because you don't want to be wrestling with your program when you're trying to learn how to draw. A few cursory searches show you might need to manually set up the pen in Sai or even just reset your preferences. I actually have to do that second one all the time with MangaStudio. Without knowing what your setup is, I don't know what to look for, but the information should be out there. It might be a little annoying because Sai is a really old program at this point.

My favorite page here is actually the 3rd, and the unfinished section at that. I think using a limited color scheme is a really good idea for you, and that pink-purple-white-black actually looks quite lovely. Maybe try using more limited color schemes in the future? With just 2 or three colors and some neutrals you can really do wonders, and learn a lot about the basics of color theory at the same time. Don't be afraid to use color pallete websites either, like kuler. Working with a nice, ready-made color scheme can teach you loads.
I'm super glad you stopped using the auto-smooth stuff, it made your line quality look super weird, and would've made it difficult for you to improve. You should try just doing some daily gesture drawings to train your line quality. You need to learn to lay down your pencils and inks faster and without stressing so much about their exact placement. Also, maybe get a better program for linework, like Sai, Mangastudio, or Sketchbook. It doesn't look like the brush/program you're using really even allows for line weight variation.
I love that even though you're a less experienced artist, you still attempt a huuuge variety of pose and camera shots. That sort of fearlessness is totally amazing, and you'll learn way faster as a result.

The program I did use for this comic was indeed PaintTool Sai. I cant get it to register pen sensitivity at all.

wutata: I have to say I'm a little disappointed of this match. You had 3 weeks to, and one of you defaulted and other submitted unfinished 3 pager...
Time management, guyse, time management.

On the bright side, I thought it was funny that killer byte created this internet paradise only to have it wrecked by Impact Day.

Better luck and harder work next time
EDIT: I understand you have real reasons for not submitting a complete comic, but that doesn't change my disappointment :/

Sorry about this, but I couldn't finish my part of the battle, I'll upload the pages I had. Turns out I just had neither the time nor the energy to do this battle justice over the past three weeks. I am sorry Cultmaster.

Artist
Gallo: Killer Byte is one of my fave characters and Sasha's getting there as well, so I was glad that their personalities really shone here. Becoming a VR-internet-porn-god is exactly the sort of thing KB would do I think And Sasha looked like she was about to get up to some cool stuff, I just wish there was more comic!! I think wutata got it right--its all about time management! I hope next time we see something more polished!
