EXTENSIONS ARE BACK*

When viewing one of your comics, there will now appear a small "?" next to the deadline countdown in the comic details. Mouseover on that to get the extension info box:

There, it will tell you whether the comic is eligible for an extension or not, along with misc information regarding extensions in general. Additionally, any extensions earned on the old site have been carried over.

* I've only tested this on my own comic so far, and have not had independent verifiction. If anyone has an issue, please let me know.

It's true, but during one of the "1 full extension for a complete comic in the month of December"s I forgot to turn it back to 1/2 extensions in January. No one noticed, but I'm fine with the change.

Anyone that had a 1/2 still on their account, was rounded up to a whole number during yesterday's conversion.

Not at the moment, but I've been trying to think of a place to put that information. Either somewhere in the Manager, or account profile... there's gotta be some room, somewhere.

I just did a test comic to help someone figure out how the extensions worked. Could we make some bolded text in a more obvious place? Without looking at this topic I found the method of looking at the ? in a circle confusing. I actually didn't realize it was there or that it would give someone an extension. I think putting some text like

Need an extension?

that you click on to get to an extension page, or at least something that calls attention to needing to look at that circle and click on the text that appears would help make it more obvious. Or just changing the little circle into a big button that says EXTENSION that still gives you the little roll over menu that you have right now. Just something big and obvious would work.

(also, we really need the FAQ finished and I'm going to bitch about it until it's done)

There's some overlap between the documents, and that's intentional to cover all our bases, wherever people might be looking.
