Very cool comic! I like your lines and the emptiness of the art, if you will. I really enjoy how you're utilizing format and layout here. Some very light, subtle toning with 1 value could have worked wonders. I always get a good read from ya Garic, keep up the good work!

That was beautiful.
Wish I had something smarter to say, but damn, everything worked just perfectly.

I'm trying to decide if this is my favorite comic I've read on the site or not...
Very VERY good. Man, Garic, I've always liked you and your stuff. You've grown soooooo damn much!
Sometimes the text placement got a little confusing when it jumped from free placement to in the bubble, even though it was still narrative. Wasn't too bad, though
Really, I'm in awe of your narrative. Good job, dude!

Had a bit of extra time on my hands the past few days so....uploaded! Some of the files are kind of big, but I think they all uploaded fine -- hope everyone enjoys.

Hi guys! I have returned with another short story to be drawn especially for Void. I've gotten tons of important feedback from this place in the past, and this comic will be a little different from anything else I've done, so I look forward to hearing what you all think.
(Also I'm not going to be drawing this whole thing in a week -- I'm actually already close to finished. Just didn't want to set myself a deadline I wouldn't be able to make)

Artist
something that bugged me a bit about the art was the hands, though. the way you connect them to arms and position them always feels a bit unnatural, which makes me feel like you're just putting them down without the right pose or gesture to line everything up. i think it would help to do more upper body studies, focusing on getting the torso, arms, and hands functioning as one unit. your actual rendering looks great, it's really just the positioning that makes things awkward.
i'm always looking forward to your next comics, keep up the great work.
