i honestly on this one just didnt know who to favor. . .i really honestly loved both. . .for totally differant reasons. . i seriously hope to see much more on void from both fighters. . .this. . .is just the first ROUND! jeesh!

Izzy, with a little more effort for the art I would probably say you were the winner - but seriously there\'s hardly any detail, hardly any shading, just a very bland looking comic.  The story was very entertaining up until the final page though.  Pretty good entry.

Yosai, excellent art as always.  You had an engaging story, this was an interesting comic.  The ending was especially interesting, leaving on a hook ~ and the broadcast cutting in and out was also excellent for setting a mood to this.

This battle was probably the best of the first round, both comics were very entertaining.

i gotta give my vote to izzy, yours felt more like a comic to me. yosais was totally pretty, but it was way too sporadic and unconnected for me to really get into. you could pretty fucking awesome layouts though, keep pushing that.

.....plus i love how izzy draws tits.

I definitely think that the first round goes to you both....these are both very interesting and entertaining comics

yosai took the quality department for me easily... but started to lose it a bit with the creativity. what really lost me though was everything after the first explosion(?). things happened, but nothing felt connected... then that last part... what was that about? ...maybe it\'s just me and i missed something, i don\'t know.

izzy, the end was a bit anticlimactic, but overall, i\'d say you did a great job... though panels 4 and 5 could have used a bit more speedlines or some blur or something. i knew it was moving, but only after going through the next few panels or so...

overall, i loved both. yosai came in with a strong start, but was a bit too cryptic, and izzy had some solid fun, but could have opened a bit better and the close needed a touch of work...

but then i\'m a noob, so talk all this yammering with a grain of salt...

but somehow all of that mixed into one comic.. it\'s kinda hard to understand the story...
