Heyy, I'm new here so let's just get right to it.

I have a few characters I'm thinking of uploading eventually, but I'm gonna start with this one.

Dusk is a young go-getting adventurer. As a twilight spirit she possesses certain abilities according to her alignment particularly sunset and moonrise, though they have only manifested themselves recently, and as such she is still learning to use them effectively. She's flirtatious and sarcastic at the best of times, but knows when to start taking things seriously. As a new adventurer she has joined the Crew of the Avalon, a pathfinder vessel that also does the odd job from time to time. She has stuck with them for the better part of a year now and the ship is currently on it's way to the next job, But they need to make a supply stop at Void City during the trip.

So I feel pretty good about the character but I'm open to suggestions. Right now what I'm trying to decide is if I should keep her on the Avalon or if she should perhaps get stuck in Void City.

Heh, I'll show you when I have something to show. Getting the ref done has been my main priority. Hopefully the intro comic goes a bit quicker

Design sheet is fine. But before you're ready to submit it please make sure not to cut off the feet. It's important that your opponent be able to get the full profile. On to comics.

Zal is a half-kaiju who always seems to land herself in trouble. Because of her kaiju side she tends to act a lot on instinct, which makes her impulsive. It also makes her more prone to quick and simple thinking. This, mixed with not quite understanding social norms, can sometimes lead to problems, but her heart is in the right place. She can change between humanoid and monster forms at will, though she rarely ever goes full monster, and she can also swap individual parts in and out if she so chooses. Excitable and optimistic, she doesn't let bad situations bother her.

So I have an idea I've been thinking about for Zal for a while so I guess i just want some outside opinions.

So for the most part Zal is kinda simple minded and does't seem to really get social norms and things like that. Basically she doesn't seem to be the most intelligent person, but that's a side effect of her being half kaiju. I at one point had the thought that she might actually be quite intelligent if she wasn't part giant monster and came up with a kinda idea. Her physical state isn't just binary, it's not just either human or kaiju, there are intermediate stages and she has full contol over her transformations. I thought of a kind of trade off system where it kinda works on the same concept as a skill tree in a video game? Like there has to be a balance between human and monster traits evident and lie, if she puts more points into LOOKING human then that's less points into ACTING human? so basically the idea is that the more kaiju like she becomes the more she's able to function as a normal person until she's basically made the full transition at which point instinct kinda takes over.

I feel like I'm not explaining this very well but I don't really know how to put it.
