Hi, it's Tofu, the member of Entervoid who never draws their face unless it's for work purposes.

WHAT. So your avatar is not you?
I am so shattered to learn that you are not a handsome, smartly-dressed Asian man.

Nah, she is a cute tall sexy girl who loves lolita and has nice legs and can beat my n00b ass on Street Fighter 4 any time. Actually I'm half kidding there (or AM I?). I'm gonna miss you in Void Tofu :(
Also I don't care if you are retiring Dropkick, me and Rikun gonna have characters dwelling in that district whether you like it or not >:D

Drew this about two months ago, but sums up a lot about myself.

A few words about my future goals: I want to be an art teacher and teach kids they suck and motivate them to try harder and learn. I want to be a comic artist that draws comics that teach things. But at the moment, I'm studying Pharmacy Technology so I can get a real job. Top that off with me wanting to be a medical illustrator too, because I'm not fond of color coded medical texbooks and they're uesless the moment you see a REAL dead person.

My drawing arsenal includes pen, ink, and Copic Markers. In the pen and ink section, you can include grey washes and brush pen work. A lot of my stuff is black and white because I had a very inspirational teacher at school who was an amazing artist but colorblind, and a number of my favorite artists draw black and white comics. Some huge inspirations are Jonathan Wayshak, Q. Hayashida, Tsutomu Nihei, Kokuzawa Yosuke, and a number of people on this site.

I am also very angry. Or I think I am, everyone says I'm not though. I write a series called Angry Artist Alley: http://jackieloart.com/blog/angryartistalley/ Which is basically me writing about my experience in artist alley at conventions. I am not fond of the new generation of cosplayers and artists in conventions because of their ignorance and behavior, so right now I'm planning out a comic that teaches people about how to behave at anime conventions.

I love Chex Mix and I recently got interested in Opera music. Hmm...I think that's about it. Not sure what to say :0

regarding style, most of my comics look like a different person did each one. I think you just make what you're comfy with the first time, doesn't have to be the best thing ever. Void is just a place for experimentation :D

My new wifi adapter is reliable enough to upload videos over three minutes, and so I can finally upload some of my longer recordings of my drawings :D

I know most of you don't use traditional media, but hope it sparks some interest in trying new things :3

Concept: Florence, previously an assassin, ends up in a new city and must blend in the crowd. But the moment his identity is revealed, he has to run for his life and escape the city before he's caught!
Genre: horror, action, thriller

Since it was about a kid, the studio thought they could 'appeal to the younger audience' by doing this:

Florence to Flora-Chan!:

(it's a bit rough but i dont feel like cleaning it up anymore >.>')

Florence, a top secret assassin, moves to a new city to go to school. However, the secret Bunny Assassin Guild accidentally files him into an all girls school! Now he must blend in the crowd and hope no one finds out before graduation!

"Something is...odd with the new transfer student. It must be a conspiracy!". Lily, the eccentric president of the occult club seems suspicious of the new transfer student Flora. With the help of her not-so-eccentric secretary Satin, she tries and befriends Flora. While trying to fake his gender, now he has to deal with an annoying classmate! What kind of hilarity will ensue? Find out, in Florence to Flora-Chan!
Genre: comedy, action, ecchi

tried to fix:

Typography and logos are my weak point but ever since I started lettering digitally I've been practicing more. I'll need to ask for more advice and pointers from you in the future Bent, I never realized the importance of typography till i started doing more comics.

It's that area in berkeley where you walk down ten minutes and the entire streets are full of dinner places, from sushi, pizza, burgers, mexican, and ten minutes from there is a comic book store (the escapist comics). The escapist has a section just for indie comics, so if you want to cosign there they're open.

I'll most likely be walking around with a tiny camera and snapping all sorts of photos. I usually email a bunch of them back to the people who host the event/artists too, so watch out. Unless the place isn't camera friendly.

Anyways, I should be able to be there for an hour or so, I am not sure what I'd be wearing but I might have a giant big blue bowtie on my hair.

Since abi you have work that day, I think it would still be a good effort for all of us to manage to get to your workplace and say hi and get some pizza.
