Man, I'm catching this one late!
THE DUEL -
The best thing about this not being finished is that I can see your construction. If I get stuff wrong, please forgive me, I can't be sure what you have or have not erased. It looks to me like you're not always laying down a gestural armature. There were quite a few spots where it looks like you just got right to drawing out the forms. You have a slight stiffness to a lot of your figures, and it will disappear as you keep drawing, but you can immediately make things easier for yourself by being more vigilant with building your figures up from a more basic starting point. Gestures to simple shapes to complex shapes. This shouldn't take you way longer or anything, keep it fast and loose, it's just gets kinda tedious.
Oh man, I think I totally spotted you using that "spiral method" thing on Cavallero's arm on the last page! You should try to keep in mind that it's just a general art practice to feel out all sides of an object with your sketch, you don't need to follow a mechanical rule on how to do it. It should just a be a general part of the way you feel an object out in three dimensional space.
I don't know why anyone would say you haven't improved, it's like your defining feature dude! All the stuff on this page near done is SO GOOD. I feel like you'll probably ignore me saying that when you read this, so let me say it again: SO GODDAMN GOOD. Seriously, I want to see something polished from you just because I know how much it's going to blow my mind. I think you just need to draw as much as possible right now.
And I swear to glob William Duel, I better be seeing a new character in in the approval manager super super soon! Don't let Cavallero's corpse even get cold! Keep you momentum going yo or I'll start sending you annoying messages whenever I see you on PS3!
Fence -
Dude what is there to say except this is so hilarious! I wish it was colored just because I love love how you color stuff, but it's amazing! I actually laughed out loud, so this is p much awesome. Cavallero totally stole the show by being a big awesome dick. I would read pages and pages of comics that were just Cavellero rolling around town being a huge melodramatic holy asshole to everyone.

WILL! WHY>!! WE HAVEN'T BATTLED WHYYYYYYYY?
Neeners, you darling creature you, there isn't a single complaint I can lodge against this. Well maybe a few here and there in all honesty but I do think you are on the right path. Jolly well spiffy old bean. A well earned victory on your part.

Will: Man, I see so much potential in your comic. What happened?
Fence: The doors could use a little more work in my eyes. Or at least, they just feel 2-dimensional to me. This comic ended on a rather amusing note.

The Duel: I am disappoint that Cavallero may die before I get a crack at him, but I agree with Rofl that you've shown great improvement. I even think your anatomy has gotten better, and your solid black shading is really working for you, more so than ever before. Keep dueling!
Fence: This was great--funny and stylish, but most importantly CREATIVE. I had no way of predicting this would end as it did, so you threw me for a loop milady. Finn and Cav were cute--I like this style of yours, as its just as detailed as it needs to be. Keep up the good work!

GOD DAMN IT ROFLQU: WilliamDuel: I don't think anyone else will say this, but I definitely am making sure you know. You've improved. People are going to talk about the default/unfinished aspect, but I'm going to tell you right now, I can see so much more here. Your panels, your pacing, your actions, your movements, your anatomy, your shading. Every single thing that looked amateur when you started is more polished than ever.

Neeners: seriously, this was beautiful, professional, and lovely. And as much as I hate you for killing just a good man, I think William_Duel should be in more comics, dead or alive, because that just made my heart happy.

William_Duel: I could see you had something going. From what you inked there are some tangent problems and some funky hand to face ratio things but you're usages of shadows on what you ink are nice.
NEENERS: Your comic was funny, also because of the "Meta" factor that you killed William_Duel and his comic wasn't finsihed. But aside from that some of the light weights when you have NPC's in it are bother me like they're too different from each other.

Neeners comic was charming, read clean and easy, and had me chuckling while reading at work. A solid kill. 9-10-10.

William_Duel: This was looking like it coulda been great, Idunno what happened, but it's a serious shame you could not finish.
Neeners: I thought this was pretty funny The kill is a bit sudden, I think it could have been milked more, the comic FEELS like it was a chore to you that you wanted out of the way by the second half of it. I like the wolf that was recording the incident on his phone.

Is Cavallero dead? Absolutely. Can you make someone new? Totally. I think this is the start of what could have been your best work yet. If you don't finish it, apply what you've learned, because it does look good. Due to the unfinished nature of the work, I can't be super in depth, but I have to say, the hair is a lot better looking when you don't draw every single strand. I've always felt the way you rendered it was both lacking in appearance and took up valuable inking time. Your eyes are working a LOT better now. You've always had a problem with eyes being mismatched or mispositioned on the face, but in this case you did very well with pretty much all individual eyes.
Your hands still have that problem of fingers all being the same length, most notably in the 2nd page with Cavallero's ass grabbing panel. I would take time out to study your finger lengths and work on figuring that out. The dumbest but probably easiest way to cement the idea in would be to actually trace your hand and just see what comes out. With regards to your inking, you've always worked on doing heavy blacks and I feel like you're on the cusp of actually understanding what to do with them. I do think on the last page, Cavallero looks better with a 'less is more' approach.
Anyways, it is a shame that you couldn't get real work done on for this, but I know how busy you are. In the future, don't take death matches just because you think you'll miss the opportunity? I'm sure you could have got a regular match all the same. I hope you come back with someone new, just because it'd be a shame to not have you available for action.
Fence: Very cute. You've definitely taken your work in a good looking direction these last few years away from the site. I really liked the assless chaps gag on page 3. Definitely not something I saw at first, that was a second look gag. I thought your story was cute and straightforward. Really, everything about it I enjoyed, just a very cute little gag comic.
I can't offer up too much critique with this. Everything you did worked perfectly together, no element to the actual drawn art felt out of place and you absolutely had a great handle on everything. If there anything I really feel like complaining about, I think your tones were a little too varied, which kind of throws off the entire thing, especially since at the size rendered, it makes the tones look like a bunch of 'Target' symbols. I almost feel like working straight greyscale would have been better without that 'texture'.
I hope you continue with battling every now and then, because your work is definitely a treat to read.
On a related note, you can kill a character, but you've killed a man. A good, honest man of fine breeding and taste. In short, I'm coming after you with the fury of 1000 suns for killing William Duel.

Will, you make me so sad. Y U DO DIS?
Neeners, it always bugs me when people upload way early and there is stuff that could have been better. I know you already said why you did it, but I feel like a few minor things could have taken this from pretty good to pretty excellent! I feel like even a couple more hours to add some more detail would have been enough. But what you have is really lovely and clean, it's just lacking in some parts. I have to say that I laughed SO hard at the drawing of Will. So perfect. And the evil coffee. Very very funny :O Poor Will ; ;

Rest in peace Cavallero? More like Rest in Peace William Duel.
Will: Too bad you couldn't finish your side, but from what I could see, it looked pretty neat. Maybe we won't see Cavallero as much now, but I do hope to see more cómics from you. C:
Neeners: I thought your cómic was pretty hilarious. I loved the Toony expressions and I cracked up at the Evil Coffee thing. I though the creativity in This by breaking the 4th wall was good. The art is pretty clean too.
But to be honest, I expected a more brutal battle between Finn and Cavallero.

What I've uploaded is probably not much better than a default but still better than nothing I suppose. They're not even really comics. I'm sorry I could not deliver.
