kind of a strong story going there, hiemie. at least a strange explanation for how they came to clash & all. no complaints. though i found the apology just so... so mean... some would perhaps even say... i dunno... cruel even.

will, your figures have issues still at times but i'm seeing progress. what you REALLY need to work on though are your props & things in your environments. not enough attention's being given & while the character may look alright, some element like a vehicle or an explosion will look really lame or rushed & pull you right out if it. spend more time on those things. as unimportant as they may be, they help establish the world & environs of the story. and you're still not doing yourself many favors in the photoshop department with the effects all the time. try to tone them down some.

Things Hiemie’s comic had going for it: purrty colors (as always), general line “chunkiness”

Things William’s comic had going for it: some really good character shots, good clean shading (you’re getting better with every comic!)

Hiemie, I loved this. Only things I didn't really like was the white text, I kinda wish you had made that a bit brighter somehow. That and straightened out some of the panel borders. Other than that everything was awesome.

Billy Dee, I wish you would use regular gutters, this kind of looks like a photo book where you post photos on a blank background. The backgrounds could use some work, they are either non-existant or seem like afterthoughts, like you draw the characters in, then do the backgrounds later. I guess I am saying the panels don't look like they were designed without the backgrounds in mind. I don't know know if I am explaining it right, if you really want to know, PM me. The flash stuff was cool but I didn't see it the first time because I read past the part before the change happened. Keep working on anatomy and perpective too.

storywise, next time you use "MO" (modus operandi) you should put periods at the ends so it shows up as M.O. and not MO like Moe's tavern. The lettering often butted up against the borders which wasn't aesthetically pleasing. It's kind of weird that she gains a new power and THEN the suit dies. Also the suit bleeds out, but we never see the suit actually bleeding. The story seemed really technical and just didn't really bring me in. The excuse page really wasn't necessary, you should just put out your best work and not apologize for it, there wasn't anything terrible in this battle I thought it was pretty good.

Damn Will, even if your ass dies you should be proud of yourself, this is definitely your best work so far.

Man Will, you were acting as if you had NO CHANCE and you actually delivered stronger than I've seen you in the past.

Heimie, you delivered as u always do. I am an avid fan of your style.

I was always aiming to make the armor seem more unisex while keeping the level of complexity that I admire in similar suit designs (Kamen Rider).  Maybe I should have given into my friend's suggestions "Give it boobs and hair so we'll know it's a chick."

That's unfortunate.  I've tried to avoid that comparison but...what can I do?  Oh well.

I uploaded, just in case it needed to be said.  There's a secret code in the comic, if you can figure it out it'll melt your face off.

As a reminder since this battle is due the day before Thanksgiving you will still be expected to turn in on time. I personally will not be putting up any battles until the 27th or 28th as I will be out of town and not have access to the FTP. But remember that our other battle uploader is Canadian and does not have same Thanksgiving as us Americans so don't take it as "oh Angie's out of town, we get a few extra days!" since Wei will still be around to put battles up.
