CALLING ALL SCARS FOR SCARMAGEDDON II: THE SCARQUEL!

You need a complete submission. If you happen to get your submission completed in time, you can enter with that character. We will be reviewing it just like any other normal submission, so if you plan on going that route make sure to do your best :)

heya; thanks for the reply; Just a quick (dumb) follow-up question: If I manage to draw and submit a character before the deadline, but, because the Void Council is busy having fancy beach-parties, driving cool sportscars and judging wet t-shirt contests (because that's what you guys do, right?) , the character is not approved before tournament deadline, is it then possible to "withdraw" the character-submission? Or am I stuck with a character on the site which I then have to retire / deathmatch?

I will make sure that it a decision is made in time!

You can count me in with Auddie, this would be my first tournament (excitement). Scar matches are just about the coolest thing ever.

to clarify, it is a group comic, or one against five-six other people?
Also, do we all have to agree on the scar beforehand, just to be safe?

This is a good opportunity to bring out my new character...
just browsing here and there

This is a Battle Royale style fight. You're not doing some beyond battle set up, you're fighting everyone else in your bracket. You CAN list some off-limits on the scars beforehand, but don't expect anyone to listen to you. No one has any obligation to, so if you get someone who doesn't care, then you'll have to deal with it. If you sign up, lose, and are unhappy with the scar, that's your fault.

I think a brief explanation of what is required from the losers after the match( i.e. their design sheets and mandatory changes) should be in the original post...just so there is no confusion over rules or people trying to weasel out afterwards

should also specify that excuse pages etc. not acceptable.... all opposing characters must be scarred in comic format or disqualification results

....and what is all this talk about people pussing out and using 'new' characters......you are supposed to go into this with both barrels and use existing character(if you have one) you have a personal investment in....thats the whole point

Now hold on a diddly darn minute, Mr Wei. They ain't nothing wrong or 'pussy' about someone wanting to use a new character for scarring. Maybe they don't want character A with a scar just yet, maybe it just doesn't suit for them to get a scar at all.

The point of the tournament is to scar, not bring physical/emotional angst to the character. That comes later.

I personally think that existing characters are 100000 times more interesting than new ones for this sort of thing. The risk to your precious baby is what makes this exciting. I hope that if anyone makes a new character for this that they actually use them after this tournament as well!!

Yeah, it encourages you to do your best, because you don't want to get your character fucked up.

its simple. man up or sit it out. I want stakes dammit, not an origin story.

this is very tempting. incredibly tempting...

Okay, I'm officially entering Ancelin into this thing. She likes scars now, anyway.

If things stay the same I don't mind having 8 people in one big angsty massacre.
