HELP DECIDE OUR FATE!!

We really hope you’re all enjoying Tag Tournament 2013. I have to say, it turned out very well. I'm going to preemptively give a big thanks to everyone who not only signed up, but participated and we hope you're all excited to see what our finalists are going to do with this coming round.

However, since we’re winding down, we’ve been thinking about what kind of events we would like to do for early summer. We’ve ended up with a surplus of good ideas and we’re going to pass the savings over to you!

We've decided to come out with a public choice for everyone on the site to help steer the fate of the site and decide the next event we do.  We’re currently offering these flavors of tournaments for you all, so vote in the poll, and discuss your reasonings!

HERE'S YOUR CHOICES!
Note: All tournaments listed are death tournaments.

The Speed Death Tournament, an enterVoid.com mainstay, the Speed Death Tournament has been done nearly every year in some form since its inception. We’ve had a year break since the last one, which is why every choice on here is the SDT in some form. However, we’re also offering the original version because it offers the most variety and freedom, allowing characters to range from the heroic to the heinous, the strange to the beautiful. Each hard-hitting 1 week round brings the law of the jungle straight to your computers, kill or be killed!

The Tag Death Tournament, a new idea based on the success of the 2013 Tag Tournament. Sharing much of the same rules as both tournaments, this would be the first time such a thing has been attempted. There’s never been a tag death match ever on the site and this would be a terrific way to welcome it on the site. You and a partner would create characters and fight each 2 week round on your way to the top or to your deaths.

The Sentai Tournament, our most recent themed death tournament, a favorite of many and one of our most discussed themed tournaments in recent years. Sentai, or Super Sentai, is a Japanese term to describe a group of customed heroes that may also pilot mecha, such as Kamen Rider or Power Rangers. All participants in the tournament would be characters in that vein or villains in that sort of vein. It follows standard SDT formula with 1 week rounds. Save the day and save the world!

The King of Monsters Tournament, our original themed death tournament, was originally created by fantastic artist Elio, every character being monsters, giant and not as giant. Example being Kaiju monsters such as Godzilla or King Ghidorah. It is somewhat unique in that each rounds of the original were 2 week rounds. That may or may not carry over to the new one, but what you can guarantee is that there will be big battles!

The Prettiest Princess Tournament, our newest themed death tournament, suggested by me. The Prettiest Princess Tournament is a balls to the wall death tournament to discover who the Prettiest Princess of them all is. There’s only one requirement for the characters in this tournament, your character must be a princess. 1 week rounds in this fierce regicide! Only one Princess is the Prettiest!

So, these are our options for our summer event. We’re leaving the choice in your hands (naturally if there’s a tie by the end of our time period, the inhabitants of the mod boards will split the tie). You only can vote once, but you'll be able to change your vote at anytime. This poll will run for the next two weeks, ending on Saturday, April the 13th.

This is unprecedented in giving you the choice, so choose well!

Also, don't worry if your choice doesn't win! That doesn't mean it will never come up again, it just won't be our summer event this year! Discuss in this thread and lets see what we get!

...this is a very difficult decision

...this is a very difficult decision

I know, that's why we're having you guys do it so we don't pull our hair out.

I voted for King of Monsters :B

PRETTIEST.
PRINCESS.
I desire this with intense fury.
Altough I'd also like a regular sdt at some point. BUT PRINCESSES FIRST.
Also when would this take place?

The framework we're working with would be maybe sign up happening later half of April and maybe starting sometime in May? This is a rough guess, we haven't hammered out the total fine details yet, but expect it soonish!

King of Monsters or Prettiest Princess!

My vote went to Sentais! I wouldn't mind a prettiest princess, either, though.

oh man that was difficult to choose! I ended up voting for Prettiest Princess.

SEN-TAI!
- I yearn for redemption, but I'll settle for a breakfast sandwich.

I'm here only to vote and show my love for Sentai. Anything else is a lie.

I do hope you consider it not being around May... it'd clash with anyone who wants to join but may be still working on the Blackstripe anthology at the time (the deadline for that being the 31st of May)

Like many, I'm tempted to vote for the Prettiest Princess tournament, but mainly for the opportunity to be very, very mean to KJV hahaha.
I am intrigued by the King of Monsters option, though, it is indeed a tough choice.

Prettiest Princess is a death tournament (unless you were to just enter a new version of them or something.)

Oops, I misunderstood!  Nonetheless, both those options sound particularly entertaining to me, using KJV or not.

Scratch that post, I don't wanna influence anyone!

Are they all death tournaments?

Porno princess FTW

Are they all death tournaments?

Yes, all of the options are death tournaments and you will be able to make a new character specifically for the event, by submitting a design sheet, no intro comics required.

King of monsters or prettiest princess,...hhmm voted for the last one !

Amazing how this poll got 55 votes in a day but you can barely get that many votes on a fight in a week.

I was thinking the same thing ... I guess reading comics is super hard work.

Once again, just so everyone knows (since there was confusion apparently), all of these tournaments are death tournaments.

^Yeah, come on people!

Part of it likely has to do with the link to this got posted on the void facebook and anyone can join the site and vote on the poll without waiting a week.
