I was expecting a cat version of Shenlong from Dragon Ball, but this is cool too!

I love the neon marker colors on that page, please keep doing that.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't get what happened.  I love the direction you're taking with the style, but it's good this is just a test page, because it needs work in the storytelling department.

So she smashes the guy, but I don't understand her reaction to having done that.  And then why would the guy want her to wait?  She just smashed the shit out of him, I think he'd be happy to see her leave rather than finish the job.

Keep going, you're definitely onto something.

I'm so happy to see all this MH4U art.  The ditzy adventures were hilarious.  I'll have to do some of my own.

And make sure you add my friend code from the Nintendo ID/FC thread, my fellow hunters!

I'll echo the above sentiments regarding the style, I look forward to seeing some pages from you.  I'm also curious to see her power in action, because the way you've worded its description is oddly specific.

Digging the revamped design, she looked pretty generic before.  I see the effect in the last panel, but I think it might help communicate her powers better if you added a more noticeable visual effect, and a sound effect to her touch.  When a character has a specific power like that, it's a great opportunity to invent a trademark special effect for it.

I realized after googling Elric of Melnibone that most of the results are like, cosplays and pinups and stuff.  Here are a few examples of the particular look I was referring to.

Your bright florescent marker colors were my favorite part, and reminded me most of Elric.

Funny enough, I came here completely by accident.  Months ago, I was telling a coworker of mine about a comic project I was working on, and she told me about a chapter she had drawn for someone's web comic called Night Fighter.  Well, some time later, I remembered that she had mentioned that, and could have sworn she said something about entervoid.  So I went to the site and didn't find Night Fighter, but found something entirely better.  The next day, I saw her at work and asked her if EnterVoid was the site she had told me about, and she said she had no idea.  I've since found Night Fighter, and it has nothing to do with Void.  I didn't do a Google search or use keywords, I just typed the correct combination of words into my browser somehow, based on a misremembered conversation months prior.

Now I'm trying to coax my coworker here, but she's only perused the site so far.  Here's hoping.

Sorry for posting this in the wrong forum, I looked for the Help section and totally didn't see it for some reason, and then found it immediately when I looked just now.

Anyway, thanks for the replies, I got it working properly.  Uninstalled the drivers, restarted the computer, reinstalled drivers, restarted computer, now it's all fine.

I was really starting to regret spending almost 50 bucks on this software, but now I'm relieved to actually be able to draw for real with it.  Yeah!

Hey guys, I just got Manga Studio 5 (well, Clip Studio Paint Pro) and I can't seem to find the tablet stylus pressure sensitivity controls.  My lines look like they were made with an etch-a-sketch.  Can anybody point me in the right direction?  Or is my stylus just feckin' up?

Yeah, the sex angle's a little creepy with that androgynous child-body.  These word balloons are streets ahead of the ones in your SRT round 1 comic, but be sure to triple check for typos (Niphilim)

Hey Joe.  I love the colors and artistry of your recent pages.  But as unique and eye-catching as they are, I actually preferred the look of the ones you posted previously.  They remind me of Michael Moorcock's Elric of MenibonĂ©.

To Plum, a coroner's report on ascendants.

As elderitch abominations have a hard time adjusting to the material world and indeed in human society, the need of a "host body" usually that of a humanoid or ruling species would be needed to house the entity. The reasons for this supposed assimilation is that the creature in question may be averse to common elements or forces in our realm, be they light, oxygen, water, gravity, heat, or time. {Some entities don't even occupy the same space as this dimension, indeed other go as far as progressing backwards in time consistently.}

In the case of NC717, Nephilim Harvey, the symbiosis of the host body resulted in a singular being of singular mind an conciousness. Being an adept of human medicine and occult sciences, NC717 has documented medical claims that it's body can be well maintained to last over 500 years over the human limit before signs of aging begin to show. In which time, NC717 has exhibited extensive alterations of the body, from redundant organs, shaped heads, extra appendages and at one point /split copies/

The filia [hair] that you are most curious about is simply an extension of a highly alterable head appendage capable of growing eyes and mouths at any point, and restructure its shape to suit its needs.  To date , it has been used as the main point from which its abominable attacks originate, from serrated tentacles, iron like jaws capable of breaking down whole victims, to simple hairstyle alterations. However, when massive shifts in shape occur, NC717 becomes significantly famished and must feed on a substantial amount of biomass sometime soon to make up for the loss of calories.

And when it does devour, it has been noted that it's transcorporeal presence strikes on all fronts and not just a single channel. Further furnishing the concept that it /eats/ its victims whole. As for the ambient energies it takes in, it has been noted to also feed on emotion, psionic waves of specific bands, and starlight.

THe self styled surgical tools [of which there are MANY] are simple mechanisms designed by NC717 and fabricated by the Land of Dead Dept. Store to suit it's needs to both engage other ascendants, or operate on large creatures. It has been noted that ripping and slashing forces coupled with centrifugal momentum is foundto be most effective at severing or disarming other ascendants. And so it is in it's human form that NC717 chooses to engage other ascendants. However due to the cumbersome design of the cutting implements it becomes rather difficult to reproduce this model of fighting among civilian humans and some martial figthers, and yet it has been observed the NC717 uses these tools with deft ease but unrelenting force.
Monday, your Designing Characters Wrong post was my bible during my time in the incubator.  Why don't you show us some of this shit?!?
