I'd like to apologize for how my side of the battle turned out, it was probably quite a bit of a letdown - I got too ambitious and overestimated how much time I had, and even ended up dragging Solly down with me (he had to scrap several ideas/pages for the sake of continuity.. even though it didn't entirely work out in the end haha).
If I ever do this again, I'll definitely remember to set much more time aside.
I'm really sorry if I've caused any disappointment!

Min - Judging by your lines and figure, you obviously know how to draw, but I wish you would've polished this up a bit a more. Even Turning your blue to black and running through with an eraser a little bit would've helped a lot towards making this feel like a completed work.
Also, I don't know about the two, really long pages. At that point, you might as well just go wild with the infinite canvas thing and just do one really long page, because they can be seriously awesome if done right.
Solly - I liked the soft, colorful rendering, but I think you lost a lot of your boldness after the first page. The lighting in the first page was so dramatic, then, everything is sort of middling and ambiguous. If you knew were going to put so much weight on the rendering, you really should've kept the extreme value range from the first page. Judging by the first shot of the city in page 2, it looks like it's late evening. As far as daytime goes, it's a great setting for dramatic, extreme shifts in light.
Also, I think you had too much respect for spoon girls design. Her outfit is exactly as it appears on her sheet, when the colors should be way different because of the direct and ambient light. It's even stranger when you notice that, at least in her black blouse, your character is lit with a yellow light like she should be.

min-It's difficult to really comment due to how unfinished this is, but I think there was some promise with your figures and expressions, but it's tough to read due to this being sketches.
Solly-Your colors are very nice! Unfortunately that's really all there is to look at. Color can only do so much to hide obviously rushed lineart. I think you could have had a much more complete looking entry with stronger lines had you just said fuck the colors and focused on making a finished entry.

Solly - Those are some awesome colours. Page three is my favourite, especially the face grab on the third page.
Feels cinematic. I almsot felt sad seeing a giant fork stick into a cute girl. hahaha.
Man...after 8/9 years i feel you and i should tango at least once!
