Ahh I love your character what a cute demon oni girl XD i like this direction pls more yes. The comedy's really good but a lot of your lines are really lose and the quality wavers panel to panel body to body. I like some of your poses but some of your static bodies are so lazy XD. I'd love to see some love put into these to make a finished comic and I guarantee you'll like the results ;333

@dotoriii; Good work again this round. Your color schemes feel very unique to you and I really love how natural you make the pastels feel. I am a little disappointed that most of your shots feel very close up and background-less again this round. Varying it up can be tricky but it'll really give your comics that extra push to making them feel less static.
@mannykat8x; Aw man corroded files, a pain I know to well, it sucks that it happened to late for you to get something done I was really looking forward to seeing some more of Marnie from you. Remember to try and back up your files with different version numbers in the future that way you don't have to start from square one.

Oooh, pastels! Not something you usually think of for action. I like it! I don't know if the hard line between colors works when the figures themselves aren't blocked in somehow to set them apart from the background color, though.
Too bad your files got all weird, Mannykat. That sounds super frustrating.

dotoriii: I have a hard time deciding which one I like better, your round one or round two. They're both so good! This one suffers a bit from flat-color-ism, but you have enough tricks up your sleeve to make even that pop. On the other hand, the action this time was waaay better. You've got an excellent sense of energy and screen direction, and the pacing is pretty killer too.
I think you and I may have the same problem with backgrounds. They're tricky and time consuming and you feel like you need to make them perfect, so you start thinking no backgrounds is better than bad backgrounds. But the lack of them makes this whole comic feel like it's set in the color void, save for that second to last page. It goes to show that even something simple here and there can help immensely in grounding your comic in the setting you've chosen.
The story's still pretty simple, so I don't have much to say there, other than I feel bad for poor Ji-ho and boy do I wanna know what that buggy dude is up to. Good luck in round 3, can't wait to see who you're up against next!

Ahh I'm sorry my computer corrupted the files I was working on and by that point it was too late to get something nice in, had to default on this one sorry ;
dotorii's round was a nice read though, nicely done

What's here is really nice, can't critique too much cause it's not complete but it's still pretty fresh! One small nitpick: I would have preferred that the blurred image in the first page be closer to what the actual image is (same drawing blurred, essentially)
Get ready for round 3!

Hey Dotorii!!! I really loved your use of color to fill rather then just going with gray tones!
There's something kind of slice of life meets action here. Which I really like!!!
Great Job- can't wait to see more from you in the next round!
