Angie: I definitely need to work on my color choices. This battle was drawn and colored on a computer with a really dark monitor, so that might be part of the problem. (But really, I just love neon and need to start checking myself before I inadvertently blind someone.) I think it would be best if I started to experiment with a different color scheme.
Dim/Dawg/Phill/Squid: Thanks, guys. I won't be around for most of the Summer, but I'm going to try and get at least one more week-long fight in before I head back to uni.
BCE: Are you serious? Zsa is a total pro. I assure you that both sides of this battle were planned, inked and colored within a week. (If you don't belive me, take another look at my battle and look at all of the cheap-ass shortcuts I took in the inking.)

BCEman: Call me an ass hole, but I have a hard time believing that either party, especially zsabreuser, did this in only one week... unless they spent every waking moment of that week working on the comic... no fuckin way...
Otherwise these are two amazing comics! Very well drawn, and decently written!

Zsa did indeed do this in 1 week, take a look at his previous SDT work where he did several entries in 1 week

I want to start off by saying that I feel like there haven't been that many amazing entries that have wowed me on Void as of late which makes me sad. So when I saw this battle coming up I got really excited and my patience was rewarded with 2 lovely entries that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Zsa-I think you've finally managed to make your detail not too overpowering, making your lines colored when they're further into the background has really helped a lot. I was initially very confused by the story but the last page explained it, although it did take me 2 read throughs to get it. The colors and lines were solid as usual and I'm glad to see your walls and floors are looking less like they're made of cloth.
Dim-you have a really good eye for color and I always enjoy all your color schemes. They are however occasionally a little too overpowering, mostly on that first page. Toning down the saturation just a little could have helped keep them from being so intense. I thought the story was precious and I was actually pretty surprised by the ending.
Solid entries from both of you, thanks for the enjoyable reads

ZSA- I never get tired of letting my eyes rove over your work. It's always so rich, detailed and fun to look at. You never seem to disappoint. I have to say my favorite panel was the fourth page where the priest discovers Potholes ghastly massacre. Beautiful lighting and color. You leave this black and white comicker in awe.
DIM- ZOMG, welcome back! I'd been hoping to see you battle again I especially loved how you incorporated bits nd pieces of the VOID universe and fighters into your comics background and setting instead of just opting for a generic restaurant, etc. And, I don't know about you, but seeing Paolo perched atop Pothole throughout the entire comic was adorable.
Great job youse guys! Awesome turn out for one week!

I just got KILLED.
But holy shit was it ever worth it. What a fun fight. Zsa, (as per usual) your colors are completely awesome and I thought the story was hilarious and completely fitting for these two.

zsa- DOPE! Very emotive, dramamtic color was well executed and it flowed well.
Dim-creative approach to color usage, the story was very quaint and comic-stripish..which may have been what you were going for.

Both were incredible.
Zsa> This was perfect, your story was well written and there was absolutely NO reading problem. Everything was just perfect ; )
Dim-Amentia> I really love your use of color, and the story was pretty good too, even if it was short. Nice ending ; )

Kozi: ahha I wonder if i was able to conceive at least a bit breath of horror in the comic, at least till before the 5th page, since I was aiming more for it at first.
Angie: Thanks, and yeah, I thought it could be a good idea to illustrate a story in a not conventional void. To tell the truth, the ending where they get back to the present time was a later thought, I hope it still worked in the end.
BCE: Actually, the art part was is a few hours less than 6 days, since we still have to think up a story and do all procedure before starting the sctual drawing. I appreciate you liked them!
And thanks everyone for the kind words!
