Draw in Mspaint. Work as small as you can, and then enlarge the final how you like (preferrably in a program that will do it cleanly without compression lines and blurs like you see here). Think about how each pixel is gonna affect the picture.

Pixel Jam.

You can use any art program, just make sure it's made out of pixels. But many people prefer MSPaint for this kind of stuff.

Perca, that looks good, but maybe resizing it by half later might help.
Also, you could cut off some double pixels, or substitute them for antialiasing pixels

Oh wow this was a lovely turn out, Perca that looks sexy.

And yeah, Jackster is right on this one. I use a pixel mapper for a vg editor to make my pixel works.

XD Dayum, I didn't expect this jam to be so old!

Kotori and Angie's little pixel people had me feeling jealous. So I made one for Gale.

Update: Edited out links because they were broken images. Sorry about that.

Thought I'd throw this down here:

Two heroes, and two villains, and two lvl1 minions from a game me and my brother are tinkering on.
Street, Tech,  Flare's lvl1 Minion: Burst, Flare, Lament, Lament's lvl1 minion: crackhead.
