SPECIAL FRIEND is a skinless psychic abomination in super sentai clothing. He is omni-empathic, meaning he can read emotions from anyone anywhere in the universe. No one is sure what he was before he was Special Friend, but he believes himself to be Void's own therapist, life coach, and personal trainer. He isn't above brutality to get the best results from those undergoing his unique brand of "therapy", believing that the pain will make the "patient" a stronger, humbler, and more experienced individual.

When engaged in combat he spouts motivational slogans, encouraging his opponents to do the best they can, even if they're trying to kill him. He is able to channel concentrated emotions into an outward stream, which can be used for three things: destructive heat force, non-lethal concussive force, or levitation beams.
