Nameless

At some point early in Nameless' life, drug smugglers traveled to and departed from the planet Ilys. Along with its narcotic payload, the smugglers also returned with a stow away Replipod. He quickly ravaged the settlement, and thanks to a genetic mutation, also increased his intelligence into sentience. His hunger for flesh quickly turned into a curiosity for the knowledge he gained by consuming, killing more for learnings sake than for survival . Eventually, he left the settlement planet, and soon after violated numerous interstellar, intergalactic and interdimensional laws. Due to his sentience, he was taken to trial and sentenced to live an extended life in a synthesized dimensional prison. An infinite, empty, grey landscape. Several decades into his sentence, he became a hive for a small flock of Slips. With the aid of these slips,he was able to escape his prison and travel freely across interdimensional and subdimensional space to escape the Interdimensional Security Task Force. He eventually came across a star system outside of IDSTF jurisdiction due to the Primitive societies protection act. A place with a strange and diverse population, with a thousand things to learn and a thousand things to consume. A strange, violent, fascinating place called Void City..

Ilys and The Replipod

Even though the planet Ilys is uninhabitable due to its toxic atmosphere, it is heavily patrolled by the local star system authorities. Besides the indigenous Ilys tree which harbors a seed used in illegal narcotics, the planet is also home to the ravenous Replipod. It starts its life as a plant like bud, absorbing sunlight until it becomes large enough to form its body into its permanent state as a grub like organism no larger than 2 or 3 inches. At this stage, it begins hunting other life forms. Instead of using the mass and energy to be converted for life processes,it uses it to expand its body. It secrets a red,blood like fluid that quickly solidifies into a fleshy material akin to dolphin skin or calcifies it into a bone like substance for defense and hunting. It typically takes the form most practical to its needs.

Slips

Slips are small, simple creatures that travel in small flocks in and out of sub dimensional space. They have the unusual property of being infinitely thin,giving them the ability to slide easily outside of space itself. They have been known to attach themselves to individuals under rare circumstances,though it is considered illegal to posses them by the IDSTF as a very serious security risk.
