Bobo: Hey hey now, this is real good! Sick backgrounds, fun paneling, aside from some unfinished stuff in the front visually the works are here, great job! Storywise it's cute though it feels a bit rushed

Cats: It's a shame you couldn't finish more than you could, at some points the level of sketchiness gets a little distracting; the story is interesting but I was totally thrown out of the plot with the sudden inclusion of Lily, left asking what she was doing there in the first place? I still can't figure it out and it feels like she was just thrown there to put Tiffany in the position to force Cadenza to use her superspell, but Tiffany could have done just about anything else for that.

Keep it up both of you I wanna see more from y'all

Bobo: Your backgrounds in this are great and overall I really like the style of this comic. The only thing I can say is the sign in the one panel it shows up seems to be in an awkward place compared to Cadenza and then there is no hint of that sign in any of the other backgrounds. The other thing I could say is don't put emojis in your dialogue bubbles, it just seems silly since you could have just shown her face in that panel instead and it would have been much more interesting. Also I like how quickly you got other elements out of the way to focus on Tiffany and Cadenza. My favorite part of this is how Cadenza's power backfires, I love seeing someones careless move just end up backfiring.

Cats: Cadenza is so cold and it's really enjoyable. I love how she doesn't put up with other people's nonsense. also in terms of the writing i like how the slugs were a red herring since it seemed like they would be the source of Tiffany losing her magic when it turns out to be Cadenza stealing it again. I do like how you did also manage to connect to the last one using Kars magic. Though it was a bit odd how Tiffany discovered Lily considering they just had their fight.
In terms of art it's a shame you couldn't complete it all but two week deadlines are only two weeks and you did great in that time. Though maybe in future ones if you know you can't complete it all you may wanna focus on completing the most important parts first so that they don't get their value diminished by unfinished art, since it seems you just did it in chronological order I think it may have been stronger had page 7 been complete instead of one of the ones before since that is your big page. maybe trying to order it with the completing the climax, first and last to make the incomplete ones feel less distracting since all the most impactful stuff would have been done. Still it was a great comic even with the incomplete parts.

bobo: i love all the work you put into the backgrounds! Even the first page, though incomplete, has great perspective! The inking is nice and I really love the creative "scar" you gave Cadenza, i'd love to see how Cats overcomes that! theres time where the simple, bubbly style of the way you do characters contrasts with the detailed way you do backgrounds but I'm sure you'll find a happy medium with more practice.
Cats: daaaaaamn cadenza is COLD BLOODED! i will fight this bitch XD I liked how you did Tiffany's magic with the doe eyes and sparkles and theres interesting lore in here about cadenza's reasons. But i dont know Tiffany and Lily's reasons for being there? Especially since Lily lost last round so she has no magic. Are they looking to fix her magic? Its a bit unclear. The unfinished art did distract me a lot also, her big epic moment of destroying all the leeches lost a bit of impact on me since it was all gestural. but damn i cant get over how brutal she is, and you setting those leeches up just for Cadenza herself to be the payoff, very excellent!

I loved the direction you went! You seamlessly used Cadenza's quest to your advantage and it felt pretty natural after your last round. Her love for Lily seems to be driving force in both comics. Also seems like in both Cadenza is taking incentive. (both times it doesn't really work for her lol)

Spoilers for the Bobo's comic:  Her HANDS! ahhhh I screamed. WAY TO PICK THE ONE WAY THAT WOULD FREAK HER OUT. She can't do magic or play?? Thats all she has, Bobo. Also during my first reading, i thought you gave her a skeleton hands but now i see that they are veiny? Either way-

Glad you liked my half btw! The spell wasn't meant to kill anyone but she just so happen to have the luck of dealing with the undead so she's not sure if she should feel bad or not. Feelings to push back for later I guess lol

I think it's really cool how our two comics showed how differently Tiffany and Cadenza deal with each other's problems, as well as their reactions to failure and the stress of a mission with high stakes. It was cool to see Cadenza sort of losing it as things got worse, but pulling it together with hardened resolve, taking extreme measures to ensure she's successful. Also, I love how she's now made two skeletons in a row fall apart haha.

Your comic was really fun to read, and although the art may not have been fully finished, the story was really strong and kept me engaged. I super can't wait to see what's next for Cadenza!

Cats! Your writing was super but there was a typo that jumped out at me! "Enegry". I appreciate that your sketches are still pretty readable even if the comic is unfinished.

Same right back atcha Cats haha. I thought I made my comic short and simple enough, but those backgrounds, man. One of these day's I learn to work at something faster than a snail's pace haha. I can't wait to read yours!
