In this jam, I encourage you all to make a sprite of your characters. It can be animated or non animated.

However, some of you may not know how to make a GIF, so I'll cover that too!
I use Photoshop to make gifs, and it's very simple.

When saving, for FORMAT you want to make it CompuServe GIF (*.GIF) from the drop down box as your file type.

The next step is IMPORTANT! So BEFORE you move on, click the box to save "Layers as frames".

The next window will pop up and click the "animate" box. In the bottom corner click the preview button and it will show you your gif in action.

 Save and you're done!

I will start us out!

I dabble in animation myself... This will need to be done.

just something simple before work. I might try an animated one at some point. I think I've only ever done a sprite one other time so it was fun.

In order to more effectively publicize my completion of Ancelin's redesign, I have made an adorable animated sprite of her:

I'll probably do one of Bill, too! This was so fun to make!

Turning this into a gif messed up the colors! But I spent all day on it so I don't care!

I used to do pixel art for fun, so I might add to this later. For now, here is Jimmy.

MS Paint. but you can use Photoshop zoomed in to actual pixels and draw it in there.

Actually, there's no reason to EVER use MS Paint for anything.

Totally doing this, though I can't animate for shit XD

Come back later...

EDIT: BACK! Sorry that it's not as small or as pixeled like a sprite should be. But I still had a ball with the pencil tool. Might make a better version next time.
