This is an awesome battle!
Viper: as a newcomer reading this made me wanna go back through the Mechanic’s archive and catch up as admittedly I don’t really know much about them, but this is a really cool introduction to who they are for me! The Inks used here are really tasty visually and look really great with the little details you put into each page

Radji:
I really liked this comic, it was a neat look into how Kurt runs the old docks part of void and the struggle of defending against the forces sent in to take them out. All that as well as being a father soon is making me interested to see what you have in store for it all!!

Arts!  Thanks for the feedback and for showing me where to get fonts.  They'll be invaluable. The heavy inks have always been my calling card so I'm glad ya'll are digging it.  Now I just have to overcome the digital tools as they're completely new to me.  Good to see I'll have plenty of help in that area.

Hellis- Damn good to be back.  I missed Mechanic too.  Excited to see where this alliance with the Crowns and Kurt takes him.  Glad you like the style, its all I know!

Viper:
God its good to have Mechanic back.Really enjoy your old school approach to paneling, pacing , heavy black inks and traditonal style of Comics.  Really enjoyed the sparse dialogue and I got some mad OG void vibes off the entire comic. Strong showing for your first time back in years! I want more mechanic now.

Radji;

Extremely interested in where you are taking this storyline nad I'd love to get in on it not gonna lie haha. Overalla strong effort in what was finished and while unfinished stuff is always a shame to see when we can tell that the finished product would be hella strong, I enjoyed it. One of your more solidly written comics to date, the flow was ncie and the action great.

Viper: it's super cool to see and old voider comeback, i love your heavy ink style, i think my favorite panel is the bottom of page 1 that perspective is great. My main crit with the comic is the font. When doing a comic you need a comic font and there are plenty of free fonts out there to get and download which I would highly recommend. The standard fonts like the one you're using make people think about reports and will at least a little bit take people out of the comic. I think your final page is better off without dialogue, all the actions express what's going on without anything needing to be said.
Also I would like to see you play around panels and layouts more. When action is going on it would be cool to see something more than just square panels, fights are messy and fast and more diagonal panels and non uniform panels will help accentuate the craziness of the battle. Radji also has some good examples of that in his comic on page 4 with the mechanic slightly breaking panels.
One last thing I wanna touch upon is the mechanics lines on top of page three particularly the way the bubbles were spaced. when you add the "..." the follow up should be in another bubble, in particular since they're two different train of thoughts, I got tripped up reading the first bubble since the jump between the two trains of thought felt too sudden, a new bubble after the first "..." would let the reader know quicker that he changes his train of thought. Also a bit more identifiers that a breach was happening could help as well, like the little squares could just say "break in" or show a camera of the scene outside to help indicate that a security breech happened.
Overall really good job and I look forward to seeing more of your stuff

Radji: I don't have much to stay, I love your stuff and the story in this was solid. It's not all finished but when it is finished your art quality is the level of published work with this whole unique style of the sepia gradient which i love (please walk me through how do you it sometime). Even the incomplete stuff is all readable and doesn't really detract from the value of the comic. English is not your first language and while it does have hiccups at some points what's more important is that your pacing is really solid in this. You introduce new elements at a good pace and give the reader some time to linger and process what's going on. You have had issues in the past of introducing too many elements too quickly and not giving them enough explanation but comic is really good writing progress on your part. Even though unfinished i really enjoyed this and look forward to more of your comics and want to see where you go with this story-line.

Kozi!  Thanks for the feedback.  Time is my enemy as always.  Had it paced for two more pages which was unfortunately not possible working 12-15 hour shifts and a 2 year old at home.  I'm going to continue to work on my writing and storytelling as I often fall short in that area.  That last page breaks my heart as I had so much more planned for it and after going back and seeing the dialogue I added after being awake for 22 hours...this was preferable.  Lol.  My vote is firmly with Radji on this one.  He absolutely SLAYED it.

VIPER- These are some rich stark inks. This is almost a throwback to old classic void for me, and I dig that. :D Right out the gate you plunge us into some high stakes build up ,which makes the payoff of discovering the mechanic doubly funny. This may be the toon aficionado in me, but I wish there was more of a payoff in Kurts reaction rather than just switching to casual introduction.

I don't know if you were pressed for time with how quickly things wrapped up by the last page, but if nothing else, the tight rat-a-tat panels of the battle one after the other was not onlty a good way to manage your time if you had to, but a nice nod of comics of old. I know you say you uploaded the wrong page without dialogue, but I kind of like it this way. :)

RADJI- Keep doing what you're doing with this style of comicking. I am seriously adoring this olden timey almost sepia black and white you have going on. I seriously wanna know how you're attaining this look because it looks great and I wanna try it! XD Your knack for grit and detail with the scummier parts of void are always my favorite. From the dregs of the sewers to the chaos of the construction site. Or at least I think it is. Most of your pages- up to page 6 have some really tight macro shots of close up action. I kind of wish you'd let your scenes breathe and pan the camera out more to give the reader a better sense of where we went once the Mechanic left his lair.

I do love that you're well on your way of progressing Kurt and his gfs storyline as well as the tension at the docks. There are some scenes and pages unfinished and your dialogue seems to be lost in translation on some parts. But honestly? I still really enjoyed this battle.

Great matchup, and great efforts on both sides!

Viper, even with the missing dialog, I love the layout on that last page.

Radji, dude, you killed it.  One of the truest nods to Mechanic's character Ive seen.  Loved everything about this.  I had to rush that last page to get done and does not reflect what I wanted to do.  You're the clear winner in my book.  I look forward to continuing this story line with you.  Damn fine job, even with the unfinished panels. Huge fan of your style, writing, and especially your characters.

Time constraints posed by my career and Christmas and having a toddler hurt my effort and the dialogue wasn't even close to what I had planned.  I acquired a tablet and am learning the program I purchased so hopefully less time will be spent messing with scanners and what not.
