Barra Arisa was made centuries ago, of the bits and pieces of dead things, by a power hungry (and sexually starved) necromancer. She was created for the sorcerer’s own needs, such as chores, potion casting, and assassinations; Barra also served as his occasional bed mate.
One day an odd boy fell from his own world, through a ferry ring, into the sorcerer’s strange realm. The Barbra’s master took notice due to the fact that the young man belonged to a clan that had once been enemies with another ruling tribe in the realm. The necromancer sent Barra off to investigate the strange reappearance of the clan expecting her to kill the intruding threat in the process. How ever, Barra quickly befriended the foreigner due to his charisma and character; Barra has stuck with him ever since.

Instead of admitting to the young lad that she enjoys his company she comments that “One day I will carry out my duty and have your head.”
