Jelly Jam, born Jellyworth Jammerton, comes from the underground slime metropolis just below Void City. After coming across an elevator to the surface, Jelly Jam has become what one would call a wandering monster. He has spent most of his stay in Void just exploring the city, hanging out in taco shops, and sleeping in cups and buckets. For the times he needs money, he takes odd jobs and lifts cash off of muggers, monster-hunters, or who ever decides to try battling him. When relaxing, he prefers to only be in his core form. While exercising or doing long distance moving, he uses his outer slime to get around and act. He is usually care-free and acts as somewhat of a joker unless there is a life or death situation.

Due to his slime nature, Jelly Jam is a metamorphic creature. He can shape his shape his body into any desired form, but lacks the ability to change its color and composing material. This applies for both his core slime and his outer slime. The core is smaller, opaque, and contains his eyes, mouth, and other pliable other parts and organs. His outer slime is translucent, is excreted from the body, and is controlled mentally by the core slime. With his slime powers, he can form multiple limbs and even different limb shapes for the purposes of flight, crushing, grabbing, or any other physical function. His slime powers also add a level of protection. Stabbing and cutting only deals as much damage as if the same force was used with a blunt object. Otherwise, he has no added protection to energy or mental based attacks.
