HEY SO I'm trying out EnterVOID cuz it looks super cool. Gonna enter my OC Princess Angela Wonderchan Sakurablossom!

I made a new ref for her for this, and I'm gonna try making an intro comic for her ASAP... only thing I'm really worried about is if my art's good enough to qualify...

I'll write a short sorta bio for her too:

Gender: F
Height: 5'13"

"Why live in the shrubbery when she can have a throne."

Princess Angela Wonderchan Sakurablossom (self-named) is the self appointed princess of a small village of tardigrades living in a sewer beneath a large city. A trip to the surface introduced her to anime and cosplay and she's loved it ever since! She seeks excitement and adventure, and to hone her skills as the toughest gal from her "kingdom," which means fighting danger and stopping trouble wherever she can find it!

"Pressure cannot squash her and fire will not burn, these are the things she surely will learn."

While Princess Angela isn't a magic user, she is capable of calling up an aura to augment her physical attributes, such as strength, speed, durability, reflexes, and perception... but her aura is heavily favors defense over everything else! Compared to other characters from my 'verse, she's not that strong offensively. Against opponents with powerful auras or armor, her attacks hit like a plastic bag in a gentle breeze. But her aura combined with her tardigrade nature makes her virtually unkillable! And, technically speaking, she IS still superhumanly strong. Also of note is her surprisingly acrobatic fighting style, incorporating flurries of punches, spins, and kicks.

Heh honestly I feel pretty proud of my art! In recent months I've felt like I've really gotten to a place where I'm satisfied with it!

I'm just worried it doesn't measure up to other people on this site.

Hey you.
Yes you.

Your art is lovely and never say it's not good enough.

I agree with this comment.

However, I will encourage you to get yourself an art tablet.
You can get so far with drawing with the mouse. Personally, I find it incredibly tiring to work with a mouse. But. I guess you can also prove me wrong, and do appealing artwork with just that tool and keep your energy high enough.

And... Correct me if I am wrong, but did you do this on Paint? I... Will definitely ask you to get an actual art program. There's many free art programs out there; GIMP and Krita, to mention some.

Feel free to check out http://www.blambot.com/ for comic fonts too. I'm sure you'll find one of your liking, there's a plenty.

I actually do have an art tablet! It's just my thumbnailing that was done with a mouse (afterall it doesn't need to look good, it just needs to be something I can quickly make and/or edit while still letting me know whats going on)
I don't use paint, I use paint.net actually. I'm thinking of moving up to clip studio paint, but that feels like a daunting prospect, ya know?

I hear you.

Only thing I can say about that is looking up tutorials around the net. I find Youtube very useful.
And Udemy too. There are some tutorials that happen to be free. Not sure if they have anything on Clip Studio Paint, but it can't hurt to check.
