Well it\'s been said but I didn\'t think this really needed to be a 2 parter. When I think 2 part battles I normally think of one long story that had to be split into 2 halves. I know you guys weren\'t out to tell a bigass long epic story or anything heh It would have been better had you both done your own thing. While it\'s great to collaborate with other artists and all, 6 pages between both of you telling 1 story seems kind of lazy.
Anyways, I found both of your styles very charming. I do appreciate HB\'s messiness , it gives his work a lot of personality. I think it really boils down to what kind of styles you prefer, I know I enjoy seeing people try something new. I do like how HB draws his own character, it gives him that extra bit of grit. I mean really, when I think of someone named Fuck You Charlie I really don\'t think cute

i really haven\'t dug any of the two parter battles i\'ve read & this battle kind of reinforces that. to split up a whole story makes someone\'s all set up & the other\'s the action. talk about short end of the stick. if you liked the storyline that much, you each should have tried to use it as a base & each worked from there. i mean it would only take a page, & the rest could be the actual individual story.

I really did like both battles, but I kinda wish you two hadn\'t of gone through with the joined battle idea honestly, I\'ll explain in my critique.
Sheana: Awesome fight, currently I gave you the higher vote for quality, but to me it seemed like you had the better half of the story, which really to me seemed like an unfair advantage over your opponent. I\'m not accusing anybody of anything, but I honestly think that the two of you should have taken more of a risk and actually put some pride on the line.
Hitlersbrain: Also a good entry, but artistically you\'re leaving a lot of negative space in your comics, also even though you draw Charlie very well: everything seems rather quickly done and looks very messy. I did also noticed the two of you don\'t seem to put much effort into the backgrounds aside from the cityscape backdrop. I do acknowledge the playground backgrounds, but for some reason it just seems to fade away after it\'s shown once.
Now, I also said this before, but for some reason it feels like you got the short end of the stick here when it came to the story, alone this comic isn\'t very interesting, all I would of seen is Charlie getting pissed, and Charlie staring down Lucy, THE END! Nothing interesting, and I\'d normally skip over a comic like this in favor of something better. You did do a good job and both of your comics came together nicely however. Somewhat high marks were given out to the both of ya.
Seriously, you two did an awesome job together, but I gotta say to you two: This reminded me of your first fights on void, and you seriously should step things up to the next level in your next match, and this is for everybody out there: Take BIGGER risks! Sure it\'s nice to collaborate with other people, but it\'s even more challenging to fight somebody and makes it so that you feel the need to do better!

Ooh, I LOVED it. For three pages, this was a really fun read! =D You two have an equally great handle on expressions and body language, that I really can\'t decide whose was better. This is going to be a tough vote.
Great stuff from the both of you. Rock on.
