UK Comic cons

Updating this thread for Twenny Fourward! What cons are you guys going to be at, either for fun or to sell?

So far this year I'm only doing London May MCM  / Thought bubble (I'll be having a table at both). It would be cool to meet up with some of you! I want to do some more cons for sure.

For any one else who wants it here's a list of some comic cons from all over the uk. If anyone else has useful stuff they want to throw into the first post please just pop it in the thread and I'll add it, I'm sure you guys know plenty. : )

I'll deffinitely go. You two got a table right Mouse? Was it expensive? I might try and see if I can get some friends together to get a table ourselves too.

Sweet!

The table system is pretty strict, you have to have an original comic (or other visual narrative), and everything you sell must be related to it (I.E No fanart).

Tables cost £40 for one pass, and £60 for two passes, you can't have more than two to a table, as far as I know ;')

I hope that helps!

Haha, PondiCherry, your very first post!
Its ok about there being no more tables, I was put off by the fact that you have to have an original comic. My friends don't do comics. More Illustrations, books, prints, which are just as cool, but whatever.
I will still come, certainly, and see your lovely comics. :)
Just checking out the website and there is an insane amount of shit going on!
Sort of stuff like having your photo taken with a giant manga statue. Drumming bands. Picnics. Steampunk room. Sounds fun!

This is happening quite soon too.
I didn't go last year but every single one of my friends who went said it was super duper good so will definitely be going this year, and hopefully me and some others will have a table of Illustration based stuff. :)
If anyone wants to get a table the submission deadline is within a few days too...

Reviving this baby since MCM is next week. (eek!) Here's what the first post now reads so any curious lazybones don't have to trek there:

Last year I was too distracted to organize any kind of void meet (sorry!), so it was more like flying introductions. This time it would be really nice to actually grab a drink with you guys or something. So who's going to be there and on which days etc? and I'll start actually organising something. \o/

Sweet, We'll all have to hang out at Thought Bubble! Thresher will be at Thought Bubble too, Right comrade? ;)

Tbh guys I've never been to Thought Bubble so I don't know anything about the area. Have any of you gone before? If you know anything about the local area it would be handy, like where might be a good place to chill?

I've been twice before, it's great, it's very comic/illustration orientated then blasting you with popular mainstream merchandise or anything like that. It's at a place called Clarence Dock which is where the royal Armoury museum is

Last time I was there they had this drawing room place that had heaters (coz it was cold as balls) where you could draw on the walls and stuff like that and chill there as long as you like.

If any Voiders are around Manchester, I'm going to be a guest at BUCK. I'll also be in the UK a few extra days before and after the con.

The way you describe Thought Bubble makes it seem my cup of tea Hats. I'll be getting a ticket for that and hopefully see you all there!
I won't be going to the London MCM this year but if anyone going is around on Saturday evening it might be nice to meet up.
