Jobs / Re: Inker Needed for Webcomic

Here's some extra details to fit with the new Job board guidelines:

Money: No. My friend and I are doing this for fun. Monetizing this will require an audience, and maybe we'll approach that later.

Length: We're currently working on pages 6 & 7. The first act of the initial story arc could be about 20-30 pages, depending on how the script works out. We'd like help to at least get us that far. There's a soft deadline of sometime around September, but if we're making steady progress there's no deadline.

Line art example: I have prepared a photoshop file with examples of my pencils to ink over. Over the course of the 7 pages, I've been experimenting with various styles to make it easier/faster for me to ink. The examples here shows the cleanest ones. As we work together, I'll refine my pencils to a comfortable point for both speed and ease-of-inking.

I'll be happy to e-mail the .psd to anyone who's interested.

Here's a very big .png of linework, reduced in size from the photoshop file:

Great to see some interest. I'll get a few example panels (not a full page) and send them out.
Stay tuned!

Jobs / Inker Needed for Webcomic [Now with Line Art!]
« on: Apr 08, 2013, 02:35 PM »
Hey Voiders! I used to post here a LONG time ago. I'm glad to see everything's still going strong.

A friend of mine and I are working on a B&W webcomic. He's been writing and I've been doing pencils, inks and 'colours', but it's taking too long for one artist. We're looking for someone to ink for us.

If you want to see some teaser pages, check out Page 1 and Page 2.

We're doing this for fun, not profit. While this is a commitment, understand we're want everyone to have fun doing it.

I'd stay doing pencils, send them over to you, and then you'd send the inks back to me. I'd then apply the flats + shading. We'll adjust/streamline this process as we go.

If you're interested, we can exchange contact information and get started.
